Claimed serious legal situation and had my ssn. Were garnishing bank account. Scammers!!

Same voice mail, I called the number back and she stated she was calling on a debt from 2 years ago for over 2,000 bucks. I started laughing and she said you think this is a joke, I said yep and she said we done here and hung up. Scammers......

Man called from 949 668-8070 threatened to file legal papers with my name which he never said my SS number garnishment if I don't call back. He called from 949 284-1429 but said call back at the above number

They just told me that I owe some payday loan from like 2010 or some [***] and they're suing me and if I don't pay it right now it was for $400 which I never got and they had an old address that I had from like 12 years ago and they said that if I don't pay them right now that they're going to garnish my wages they said it was Ace check company or something I said well I don't owe it so she said okay sir well we're going to go ahead and I said well who do I get a hold of so I can contest I said sure you need an address she said no no they'll just get a hold of you I said okay then she's like yeah they're going to garnish 35% of your wages for one you can't do that anyway on a debt and she said it would be proven in front of a judge I said well how are you going to serve me said oh they'll find you she's full of [***]

I just got off the phone with him it was the exact same thing saying I had a $400 cash advance in 2010 and if I don't pay it right now they're going to garnish my wages 35% for $2,200 and leave my bank account I said bring it I don't know that she said okay I said well who is it she said it's check cashing I said who is it she said Ace check cashing. She gave me an address I lived at in 2009 I said well don't you need my new address to summon me she said no we'll send it to the authorities and they'll get it to you where you can pay us right now I just said good luck and hung up

Got a text. When I called back they wanted my SSN to “verify” my identity.   I refused that so he claimed he’s been in touch with my employer and a garnishment is in process.   Scam.  I been retired for ten years.

Called to say they were going to garnish my wages and put  lien on my bank account

Called from 931-572-8923 and said they were going to file criminal charges and garnish my wages and put a lien on my bank account

They would need to take you to court for that to happen and they aren't going to do that because they would have to prove you owe the debt.

I received a voice message saying the same thing. These are scammers. They should go to prison.

Same as above but called from a Mobile AL number and left message to call back on 9496680070’

Called and threatened to file court action against me, but did not say what it is for or who it is that I supposedly owe.

Ignore it, it's a spam call. Block it.
