- Costa Mesa| 1 replyShe has called 2 x in a couple weeks. You say "Hello, hello"then she laughs and says "Sorry I was having a little trouble with my headset" and starts in on her script. You tell her you're not interested and to take your number off the list and she keeps right on talking over the top of you.

Please reply to this post, to let us know you read it, or have taken suitable actions to protect yourself. - Mitch SeaversWhen she called we both started giggling. She did because she had problems with her headset and I was giggling because I couldn't believe I was talking to a girl. I think we really hit it off! I just kept answering her yes/no questions. I tried to ask her out after we finished but I think the phone had a bad connection because it just hung up?!?!?
- ZechenSaid I visited their resort some days ago and then wanted to offer an exclusive stay in Florida, almost all free and food included. Trying to ask me questions, I asked what company are they, she said dci travel company or something. Then hung up after I said Im good thank you...
- frustrated replies to 949er| 4 repliesI stupidly answered this call....automated with a twist --- voice says, "hold on, i had a problem with my headset' then proceeds with "you stayed at one of our resorts....." BEWARE, the news says they will try to get us to answer with a yes, as in "Can you hear me now?" When you say, "YES", they use your voice as evidence that you ordered something. Good luck and thank you for this site.
- DaveT#BEWARE!! AND REPORT THIS NUMBER!! https://www.ftc.gov/complaint
Yup - I just got one of those #scam #phone #calls where they record your voice, then use it to sign you up for something.
The recording starts out with "Hello? Hello? Oh sorry, I was having problems with my headset" Then she goes right into a sales pitch about getting an all expense paid vacation, and asks if she can transfer me to a supervisor. What they WANT you to say is "Yes", so they can then sign you up for something.
I just kept saying "Hamburgers". When 'she' asks if I want to speak to someone else, and I just say "Hamburgers", 'she' says "Sorry, I didn't catch that - can I transfer you to a supervisor?" Then it just disconnects.
BEWARE!

- GThey have called my mobile and home and never leave a message. Before I knew about the scam, I answered once. Since I had already had many calls where person says they are adjusting their headset, when they asked if I could hear I said no and they hung up. It's definitely a recording. Thankful for this site.
