This women called me from this number and stated she wanted to know if I still needed a job, I do not know this person, she didnt say what company she was with, just said she was with an enploymnt agency.

Me too.  She said her name is Sherry / Shelly (??) got my # from dice.com asking if I am interesting for penings or if I have any referal.  I got this call on Aug 24th in regards of IT openings where she said she'll email me the details.  I checked in my email, but did not see an email from her name.

The company is called Randstad.  They perform engineering and I.T. recruiting and are fairly well-known in the technology sector in Southern California and elsewhere.  They have an office in Orange County, and I believe they are accessible via telephone and eMail if you want to be deleted from their database.  Note that not all recruiters are well-organized; you may need to repeatedly call a recruiter back to get THEIR eMail address and proactively pursue him/her for a job.
