I put an advert to sell a car on autotrader. Almost straight away i recieved a text from the number above saying ''good day, i hope your vehicle is still up for sales. pls reply to only my email ( dougbb2@outlook.com ) and pls confirm the full asking price. thanks'' . I did email him (thinking it was genuine) and after telling him about the car, the email he replied with was saying how he works away and hasnt got phone signal so he hope its ok that we email. ( I thought this was a bit suspect.) he then said he wants to pay by paypal. I emailed him back (i thought it sounded very dodgy but wanted to see what more he might say) i asked him how he would collect the car, and he says about a private courier etc. etc. all sounded very very dodgy, a bit too much effort for a $1400 dollar car. Also noticed the number wasn't an Aussie one. I had a google of the details I had for him and found this site. If you are contacted by this address please post on here to let people know. Some people might actually fall for this crap!!!

Same thing happened to me when I put out a request to buy a gas tank for a 1948 Chev Truck.  I got an e-mail back wanting all sorts of personal information.  They wanted to do the overpayment scam.  I think they were in Nigeria.
