Answered. It was a recording that said it was from the US Treasury that was informing me or a lawsuit that was opened up against me for tax evasion. Obviously not true because they would never call you and tell you this and secondly I'be always filed my taxes accordingly. Reported and blocked.

left a message on my answering machine. US Treasury was informing me or a tax evasion  case was opened up against me. Got me pretty upset until I read Vita's reply:) I feel better now

Left me a voicemail that said, "The Department of US Treasury, this is to inform you of a law enforcement action that has started on your name in regards to a  tax evasion case. To know more about this case you can call The Department of Treasury at  951-240-5523."

Blatant scam.

Left me a voicemail saying they were The Department of US Treasury, this is to inform you of a law enforcement action that has started on your name in regards to a  tax evasion case. To know more about this case you can call The Department of Treasury at  951-240-5523. Everyone needs to report it to The Department of US Treasury on their website and then to the IRS. I've reported a couple numbers already and they suggest reporting every number to help them track down the scammers and help protect you! Please report!
