This number is running a US Treasury Department scam.

The caller, "Anna Perez"  professes to be from the "Department of Legal Affairs at the U.S. Treasury" and asks/threatens you to call back over impending legal action. The script is slightly modified from March, but the message is unchanged. The caller is clearly working out of a call center and has limited ability to control their native accent.

When you ask them the nature of business conducted from this phone number they hang up on you.

I have been hounded by these turds !!!! Speak better English!!!!

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

I keep getting calls over the last few months.  They know my name and ask for me.  They tell me they are from The Department of Legal Affairs and want to know if I have an attorney.  They have called and my kids answer and they tell them I am being sued and they need some information about me.  I keep telling them to leave me alone but they continue to call me.  My name starts with a V and they pronounce it with an R.  My caller ID this time showed it being in Riverside Ca and called me at 7:56 a.m. this morning.  

this is a scam and I don't know how these humans sleep at night knowing that the are evil. REPORT THIS NUMBER TO YOUR LOCAL POLICE AND FBI ASAP!!! DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION....SHAME SHAME ON YOU!!!

This is a scam do not believe anyone who calls you and what they say... just hang up and report ASAP....!!!!!

I got the same call. Except my caller was a david  johnson with a very thick foreign accent.  They left a message.  Scam flags are flying for this one.
