unknown number - didn't leave a voicemail

blablabla foundation seeking for donation. Never like this way of seeking donation even if the foundation is a real foundation.

I called back from a blocked landline and there was an automated message asking me to call back from the number where I was originally contacted. Yeah right, like I'm going to do that!

call my cell phone I don't know this number so I didn't answer. The did not leave a message. I am on the DNC call list.

The same thing happened to me today, Someone called  on my cell and I called back on another number.No message or identification of who this is. They say to call back from the number where I was originally contacted.

This # just called me. I didnt answer & I'm on the DNC list too..or at least, I used to be. They did not leave a msg.

said they are the "Cops for Youth" organization.  Asked for $200 donation.  Asked for my name and home address.  SCAM.

Got hit by this today, blocking the number. Thanks for the notes everyone.

I answered the gentlemen introduced himself and the reason for the call .  Police department in Sacramento requesting donations for youths .  Was not pushy. Willful donation envelope .  My choice after I receive info .  Not everyone is a scam. But I do understand the previous comments .  Have to be very cautious never give c/c or too much personal info

Called my cell at 12:43pm. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. The area code is the same as the city I live in. They didn't leave a message, so I won't bother calling back.

Called at 7:10AM. Left no message. Calls two three times a day from different numbers. I don't answer my phone before nine unless I know who it is. It is getting very annoying.
