Just got this call. What’s strange about it is that there’s no requested action other than to be mindful about the planet. No website, no request for donation, no request to contact your representative about something specific. Googling the phrase ‘“save the water save the planet” phone call’ with the double quotes only turns up this page.

The phrase "Save the water, save the planet!" is the prominent closing tagline in PSA type announcements, on radio stations I listen to, promoting water conservation.  Subjects of the PSAs vary, listing things like checking for water leakage in the home, watering landscape plants between sunset and sunrise to minimize evaporation and converting home landscaping to less water thirsty vegetation.  They all end with the "Save the water, save the planet!" tagline.  Very annoying, because while each one is short, they will play as many as three (often the same one repeated) in a single commercial break.
