These calls started a week or so ago and are getting more frequent.  It's all a scam...I swear they move from place to place and different scammers get the list and start calling again.  This has been going on for more than a year now...DO NOT CALL THEM BACK OR TALK TO THEM ON THE PHONE!  It's unnerving at times but even the local police say these scammers are persistent.  Reporting this one to the Atty. Gen. too!

I got a message from this number today 06-26-2012... the message said they have tried to contact me several times by a Jeremy Matlock that I needed to call back right now.  The dirtbag sounded very rude and annoyed because I have yet to return his call.  He can kick rocks and sit and wait for me to return the call .... IDIOTS!!

Hello- I keep getting a call from the same people. I spoke to a Mr.Freeman. He is very rude. I told him to remove my number and he asked for my name so I gave him my first name and nothing more. Because I refused to give him my last name he said . "you are the person we are contacting and proceeded to tell me that they have all the information they needed and would be seeing me real soon" then he hung up!!! So rude....I called back and asked for their address and ofcourse he refused. Asked for my name again so I gave him my full name. I told him to give their address so that I could report them to the FCC and he refused and hung up.

Did they stop after you sent the letter? Any help is appreciated.

Received a call from this number today with an ominous messase that I needed tocallback immediately. i did not call back.

Recieved the same call. Claiming I owed on a jc penny's card. That I know for a fact I paid. Told the guys was heading there now and hung up. About 8-9 yrs ago yes I had created a lot of debt. 4yrs ago I paid everything off. So knowing and having my credit reports from 2009 indicating I paid this card off. Called penny's and the collection agency they sold my account to. Guess what, the account was closed and paid in full. PR and Associets are a fraud. Called them back to day demanding where they got my information. Such rude people and very demanding when they first called. Lol seriously thought the lady was going to cry before she hung up on me. I do want to know how they got my information. They are a fraud business. DO NOT give them any personal information. If you do owe money call them first. If they have sold the account to a collection agency they will give you their name. Repete DO NOT give PR and Associets any bank/personnel information.

They have been leaving me messages on my cell phone all week.  I finally answered today.  They wouldnt tell me who they were, but they had the last 4 digits of my social security number, which freaked me out.  Then they claimed they were trying to collect a debt that was included in my discharge in 2008.  The manager then got on the phone and told me I was lying about my bankruptcy that if I really had one I would know my attorney's name and telephone number.  I said it was 4 years ago dude?? Meanwhile I'm digging through my desk and low and behold I started rattling off my case number and my attorney's information.  He shouted "don't you ever contact us again!.  I said I didnt contact you, you contacted me and you refused to identify yourself and you had my social security number! THen he hung up.  So I called the number back.  Reached a female representative, explained to her what had happend.  She came back on the line and stated the first fella I spoke with was Brandon and she asked me to hold while she looked into it further, then that familiar jerk came back on the line and said Marjory? this is the manager! Don't you ever call my office every again do you understand me? I demanded his name, he refused to give it to me and kept yelling have a nice life have a nice life!

What the hell kind of a company is that?? I have contacted my attorney! There is some jerk out there with my social security number trying to collect money from me that isnt collectable!  Not to mention it is a violation of Bankruptcy Section 504 that any creditor contact or try to collect a debt  after it has been discharged.  They are violating a court order!

I've gotten calls also from PR & assoc. They have my address and trying to collect on a debt, that i'm not sure is even mine, and old debt and they threatened me with bringing a Sheriff and serving a summons. I told them I wouldn't sign anything from them, then they wanted my debit card #'s to as they said, Settle half the debt if the customer would agree even for $25 if I gave them my card #, I said absolutely not, I was going to call an attorney, they said how can you pay an att, and can't pay this even for$25 , I said I have a free attorney She said good luck(sarcastically) and hung-up! They haven't called or came with the sheriff!.grrr, it's just annoying and rattled my nerves, but I heard through an Limberg Attorneys that they are probably scammers! I'm not worried now. God Bles the rep. from Limberg Attorneys who did a quick check for me about this Co. PR&Assoc.They are I believe now a scam set-up!!

They leave a Very rude recording I'm sure theyre trying to reach someone else.

We received a call today.  Same thing as others, they way they have been trying to call (did not) and they left a very rude message.  When we called back the message rotates between several names if you continue to call back and not leave a message.   When they finally answered they did not even want to give their company name or the nature of thier call.  Only that they had a mattre int heir office that would be escalating soon.  Does not seem legitimate to me.

These people called my cousin asking for me. They said that I had left my cousin's name and number as a reference. I dont't even know who these people are. Of course my cousin didn't give any information about me. I think they just called him because of course, we both have the same last name and they figured he would be stupid enough to release any information. Guess what???? My cousin is a lawyer and his wife i s a court judge, their son is a cop. They called the wrong house. They are really looking into this!

I received a phone call from a woman at my workplace who informed me that she had papers to serve me but that she didn't want to serve them to me here???? They knew I was at work. I was baffled and surprised at first but then as it registered in my head she asked if I had received anything prior to this call and I told her NO, she then transferred me to an Alex Jones who stated that they were trying to collect a debt and that he could offer me a lump sum payment or payment plan if not they were going to take me to court and I would end up paying attorney and court fees and they would send information to my payroll department to garnish my wages. I explained that I am literally financially strapped and couldn't afford the payment amount they were offering, after the call seemed to go on for over 5 minutes I asked for his contact information since I was at work but that didn't seem to matter.

lisa....ask them if there license to collect in your state of course they will say yes then ask for the license number and they have to give it to you,,then check it out remember your dealing with low lifes and they will lie to you and if there not license they you dont have to pay this company..
next step..you want full validation per FDCPA ACT 15USC.1612g.SEC809(b)
1..when you opened and closed the account
2..all charges and payments made,,you have the right to check if all your payments were credited towards the account
3..how the interest was accrued,when these IDIOTS does the math they always make a mistake in there favor
4..you want to see the contract with your signature on it

the law says if they cant validate in full,then the debt is invalid and you dont have to pay and the law is on your side 100%
VERY IMPORTANT YOU MUST SEND THEM A CERTIFIED LETTER REQUESTING FULL VALIDATION AND YOU WANT THE RETURN SIGNATURE FROM THE POST OFFICE.
now if this low life company bought the debt then 98% of the time they cant validate...if there collecting for the original creditor then they might be able to validate...tape your phone calls go to court when they try to sue you tell the judge how much you make and what your bills are every month...rent utility and food cost every month and this is what i have left over,,oh yeah dont forget life insurance payment and car insurance payments and the judge would rule in your favor of not being garnished or making very low payments

Got a call on july 31 2012 saying they had left several messages and to call them within 24hrs called the number back and was told that they never heard of them and that this may be a scam decided to google them and upon researching them found that it is a scam please beware of these calls.

Jeremy Mallock of PR & Associates leaves message recorded voice calls from this number and instructs to return call to 951-719-8572 within 24 hours. "Imperative." Don't know him. don't know the company and don't want the intrusion.

Got a phone call from same scammers - 714-922-9472 to my place of business.  Cody Freeman was the name being used.  I have hung up on them 3 times - and my employee's have hung up on them as well.  They are "fishing" for more information on me, my daughter and my place of business.  Trying the same "legal matter" that you need to clear (of course with an immediate payment).  They are even trying now to say that "verified" information with the state and if I don't make "an immediate" payment they will be forced to go forward legally.

didnt know the number so i looked it up and called them from another phone.  the guy answered Jeremy - i said my name is mary ellen (not true).  and then i asked him who they were he said PR Assoc. a coolleeccttiioonn ffiirrmm I said i do speak english and then asked asked him what does the PR stand for he said well what does WALMART stand for  give me yyoouurr nnuummbbeerr and then i can help you... I said WOW - companies have accronmys.  - he was an [***] - told me i was be condesending  another WOW -  he was being rude  so he got my friend SLAM THE PHONE down....   i wouldnt give them $ if i owed it.

Same thing for us, recording has guy voice sounding very angry.  Just hung up.  Hey folks get a small air horn from the dollar store.  They work great, just wait for the real person to come on the phone and then give them a blast.  We have had less calls from the unknown.

received a very rude call from what sounds like the same company. very insistent that i did not respond to their information requirement and DEMANDED that i comply. i am in the 407 area code and i have a company cell. i simply hung up when they got loud. that's the only call that i answered but i do have two calls today from the same number where they did not leave a message
