Either I got him in a good mood, or my attitude of amused indifference had the right impact.  This was just so badly done I laughed when he threatened "legal proceedings will start as soon as you hang up"

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

I keep getting the same calls but this time I turned the tables and called them right back from a blocked number, I disguised my voice a la Indian accent and told them that THEY were in trouble for impersonating a government official!

I received a call 12/2/14 from 951-797-9890, Mark Johnson #19631. He told me that he was coming withing 45 minutes with law enforcement to my home if I did not call Michael Lee (Judge) to resolve the law enforcement action against me.
It's now about an hour past the time i was supposed to call. Hmmm. Scam! Don't let them scare you out of your money!

I received the exact same message as Mia posted on Nov. 7--same  names, same accent.  I did not return the call so I am not sure what the exact scam it.
