called today CID shows VOIP caller. blocked

Supposedly raising funds for some police organization. Asked to be taken off their list.

Disrespectful people called on Mother’s Day, thankfully my phone service blocked the call.

Claimed to be done police fund raiser but when I asked for paper details and documentation then I would make a decision he flustered and then he hung up. He referred to the donation he wanted me to make as being an invoice which implies goods and services and not a receipt.

Received call from this number twice,they asked for Sherry,then hung up.I am in the Do Not Call List
i did not call them back.i think they wanted Me to return the call.

Asked if (my first name) was there, then hung up when I said yes....

Asked for specific person, claimed to be seeking donations to help police and improve police safety. I asked for info to be sent before commiting.  Was pressured to make a donation right then and there because no Info could be sent without a $15 commitment now. Definitely not legit.

Call, pick up, no answer

Scam / fundraising scam. CB: Press 1 to be put on our DNC list. No other options.

Claimed to be from an organization representing police officers.  I believe that this same individual has called previously, claiming to represent veterans’ interests...

A male with a bit of a southern accent identified himself as Gary from a police organization and I ended the call.

1st call claimed to be for a police fundraiser, which I said no thanks and hung up. 2nd call, he asked to speak to the head of household, I said sure, may I ask who's calling, and he paused and then hung up.

CID is suspicious.  I pick up but say nothing.  Dead silence on the other end for 13-15 seconds, then a disconnect.  Even more so.  Blocked.

They keep calling I ask not to they disregard I block them they call again
