They called the wife's cell twice asking for me. Left a number to call back which is a non working number and has an outgoing message to call the number on the back of my card. Funny we only have United this year for dental. I just want to be left alone. If I don't call you back, I'm not interested.

sometimes if they notice a change in your insurance behaviors, they want to verify.  Just give them a call back and get it over with.

I got a call and I don't want anyone else calling me. I am on a do not call registry. I have insurance and if I want more, I will look into it myself. All insurance companies need to drastically drop the price and quality of service. Lower the deductible also.

I received a call on my cell phone during a business meeting. The caller ID said the call was from Minneapolis. The caller left a message asking me to return his call, which I have elected not to do. He identified myself himself as Dave, a registered nurse and case manager on UHC's Health Advocate team. I have excellent doctors I see regularly to monitor my medical issues. My overall health is stable, and my doctors are reasonable when prescribing medication or ordering tests. I don't need help from the insurance company. In fact, I plan to skip my employer's annual health screenings in the future because they are not administered by experienced personnel who understand my medical history, producing misleading results that are sent to the insurance company and my employer. Then I get calls like this. Generally, I am wary of anyone who says, "I'm from the insurance company, and I'm here to help."

They are spoofing an old UHC services number no longer in service with UHC.
They are trying to get some of your personal info.
DO NOT give them any personal info. If they in fact talk with you.

I received a call from this number and the woman said she was from UHC and they started asking me all kinds of questions about my medical conditions and to "confirm" my address and date of birth. After answering a few questions, I told her that, if she worked for UHC, she should have this information. In fact, the ONLY information they provided was the date I had been released from the hospital. They knew nothing else. She told me she worked for a "special division" of UHC and that they were required to keep separate records because not all of the information was supposed to be in their system. I told her, if that's the case, she shouldn't be asking. I hung up.

A nurse from United Healthcare wants to talk to me about services available on my employment medical plan.

Why do you keep calling?  You act like a telemarketer or a collection agency.  Leave people alone.

My heart goes out to you. My husband spent a lot more time in the hospital than he should have thanks to picking up MRSA, VRE, and other superbugs in the hospital. May you feel better soon.

Hardy. They call me once a month just to see how I am doing. I have several chronic conditions they help me to manage.

I am a stage 5 renal failure patient.  I am on dialysis and their renal nurse calls me once a month for a health checkup.  This is a legit number from United Health Care

Scammers spoofing UHC's customer service number phishing for social security numbers, birthdates, account information, etc.

Call from United Health Care, my medical insurance provider.  It was a ligament call.

Rang a couple of times, but when I answered, they hung up. I used to have United Health Care about 6 months ago, but thankfully no longer have to deal with them now that I have changed jobs. If this is truly a UHC phone call, they need to update their phone database and stop calling former members.

I got a Call from 1-952-367-8000 said her Name was Monique Shay and she was Calling from "my medical insurance company" then said ( my insurance name ) through (my husbands employer name) who its through and that I needed to call her right away at 1-866-365-3334 ext 64251......It struck me as Odd (being in medical field myself) that she said "I'm calling from your medical insurance company" ...
so I checked on the 1-866-365-3334 number look up on here and ALOT of people getting these weird calls.... and as I have been getting ALOT of WEIRD Calls from Every State in the U.S. with Scammers and Told NEVER Call back 866 numbers from my husband (who trust me, in his line of work...he would know!!!)

What a load.  Every year I write to United Healthcare to tell them to stop bothering me at home.  Every year they continue up again.  This year they completely ignored my requests.  These calls are not motivated by the company's concern for your well-being.  These calls are targeted to push clients towards more profitable treatments.  I have received half a dozen phone calls advertising private nursing despite the fact I have never needed one.  There should be a law against this type of behavior and I will never again willingly give them my home phone number.

If it legit, at least when I answer the phone and say "hello", say something or if it important than leave a message. Not asking for the world here.
