As others have posted here, it's a scam to take your 401K money and stick it in a rotten annuity that pays nothing to you, but a big chunk of cash to the scammers.

Yes, I start to work with these liars. After you start it is quickly apparent the career part is a joke. After supplying them with the requested information the first position recommended violates all of your requirements. Every call after that you have to keep reminding them of every detail.  CPR My career is a SCAM.

I got a phone call from 952-479-6340 (CPR My Career) and Ms. Robyn Johnson, as I started speaking with her I asked if she represented a Insurance firm (A SCAM FIRM they want money from you to work there) she hung up.

Very upset that all I did was apply to one job, and all of a sudden ALL of my personal info: cell phone, email... was stolen by this scam company. How is this leaking?

First of all, I would like to apologize to those who I spoke with when I use to work there 5+ years ago. I am not a disgruntled employee, but just a person with knowledge that needs to let people know. Stay away from this company. Do not waste your time.

Deceitful business practices. Advertised as a recruiting firm, their main goal is to get their financial planners clients.

Performance and incentives based on the amount of appointments you can book with their financial planners.

If you want to work for a financial planning firm, go work for a real one. If you want to go work for a recruiting firm, this isn't one.

When I was there they had 1 "recruiter" who never placed a single person. I bet you could not find 1 legitimate person that was placed by them that would openly and publicly vouch for them.

This company is actually "Strategic Financial Partners" and also use to be called "Work Save Retire". Before that they were called Outplacement Services of America, featured on ripoffreport.com.

They will come on here and say how everything is free to the customer, but really it's not. They are wasting people's time, telling them they will help them find a job, Really they are just giving you a job search engine (when I was there it was just a terrible application that ran a search through the SimplyHired job aggregate board), a horrible resume building tool (which is actually just ResumeMaker.com), and some basic tips on resumes and interviewing (all info just pull from various sites like Monster.com and such). Their site has changed recently, but it's all the same info and pitch on there so unlikely much has changed.

Their real goal is to book appointments for the financial planners. It's the only way they make money, which is why their quotas and incentives are based off it. At the end of the day, if you aren't a prospect for their planners, the most you will get is the basic job "tools" above. If you have a lot of money, they may give you the "VIP" treatment and actually try to place you in a job. But don't be fooled. They don't have any real connections with any employers. At least not when I was working there.

So why do they do all this, instead of just calling people and just being straight up about financial planning? So they can skirt around the law, ignore the Do Not Call Registry, and call you under the guise of job opportunities. Because if they call you about a "job", they don't need to follow the Do Not Call List.

Here you will see a site talking about about annuity sales where they highlight the owner, John Schrup, as someone who created a business DESIGNED to provide financial planners with appointments. Not designed to find people jobs.

What you said is correct. I to received a call and CRP My Career business is NOT BBB Accredited. What the BBB report about CRP My Career is the failure to be transparent about ownership, location, or products/services offered. This information can be found on the BBB rating Scorecard.

Got a call and VM from Carol from what I heard as "CPR Courrier" about my resume she saw online. Turns out she's with CPR My Career. Also sent me an email. Appears to be a subscription headhunting service.

Their new hook is to fish you from indeed job board or zip recruiter through fake postings and say your resume got past to them confidentially and you must be this high caliber candidate. They want to talk to you. So when you can back it generated an email bounce back to you on this next level canned response personalized. A scam and not even good st it.
