They appear to be a medical bill collector.  Other sites show them to be really aggressive with a lot of extremely rude employees.

Over 100 complaints , according to BBB,  in the last three years.

They called me, it's a debt collection call center. They were pretty angry and didn't believe me when I said I didn't know who they were calling for, that it was a cell number and no one but me uses it. The person they were looking for had the same common last name, but I'm female, they were looking for a male...and the first names are not even close to one another. The caller though did offer to take me off their list.

Received call on office line. Identified in caller id as "UCB". She started by saying that the call was being recorded for quality purposes and asked for a Douglas somebody. I told her I never heard of him and she thanked me, said she'd remove this number from the record. Interesting that she didn't ask if it was ok to record the call, just stated that it would be.

Called asking for my husband's ex-father-in-law.  He never lived with us, so I am baffled.

I have received two cell phone voicemails from this company.  My bills are paid on time and I do not have any debt that has gone to collections.  Who are these people?  Are they scammers?  I do not call them back and they do not call me by name, so what is this up

First time for this number, but not for the area code, which has been blocked for some time now.  I know nobody there, and they wouldn't know, or have any business, with me.   CID: "UCB".  Sounds like some one is using their name to make scam calls and bother people, perhaps in an attempt to steal money under false pretenses.

Called, left no message.  Someone from florida.

Another call from this number.  Intercepted by my call blocker this time.  All I saw was the notice that someone had called in, but was blocked.  CID: "UNITED COLLECT".  Second time for these clowns in the past five days.  The first call had a CID of "UCB".  You'd think that a valid business would always have the same Caller ID.

They're still trying to get through to me.   Maybe in a few thousand rejected calls they might get the idea that I don't want to talk to them.  Guess that isn't my problem.   :-)

Wanted ex-wife's phone number for debt collection.  Wouldn't give me any information, but expected me to give them her phone number.  Lowlifes.

Called my phone and my husbands phone, but would not leave a message.

Called a month ago and again just now saying they were a debt collection agency. I don't answer numbers I don't know but they left a message both times. They leave an 800 number as the call back number. We have no outstanding debt. We pay off our bills every month and they don't say who they are wishing to speak to so it's a scam.

Calls every day, hangs up.

They called my place of employment, I told the girl who answered the phone to give them my direct number, which she did. When they called me, I answered  stating this was Wendy, then they hung up on me?

message left on my answering machine to call United Collection Bureau at 800-394-7542.  Called back and told the lady that a message was left on my answering machine..she asked what number was called and I gave it to her.  They have no record of my number. UCB seems to be a legitimate company just trying to collect money owed for companies but I suspect there are idiots out there trying to get people to answer the phone using this company's info for what I don't know.    Please be aware that this is probably a scammer calling especially if you know you don't owe any debt to anyone.
