Yes, this company called several times and left no message, finally I answered the call and they identified themselves as the Fort Lauderdale Police Department, very deceptively,when in fact they are a fund raising organization who contracts with the FT Laud PD. I was irate with the calls.

Received a call from 954-358-2224 but did not answer

have kept getting calls every evening at about 5.00 to 6.00pm every night and when I answer they hang up.I also tried ringing them back no answer.

IF you get someone on the other line it will be a very aggressive man who claims to be affiliated with your local police department.  They ARE NOT affiliated with your local law enforcement agency!

Each night at 6:30 PM Est  Each time I pick it up there no one there and get dial tone.

I have just visited their office, they are at the very west end of Lincoln Park West shopping center and told them I looked up the owners Sandra and Julius's personal information which is all public record and my next step was to call and visit their residences and ask that the calls stop until they do. They happily took my phone number and promised the calls would stop. Lets see if it does.

Calls everyday and leaves no message.  When answered no reply.

These people keep calling the house all day every day, and when I finally answered there was noone on the other end. When we called the number back after answering on several different occasions hoping to be able to tell someone to leave us alone, there was no answer. This is ridiculous...what's the next step?!?

I live in the area, and my first reaction was to do the same. I do not know where they achieved their calling list from, but it sees, from what I can see, that many are verizon or at&t customers. Wonder if a list was leaked or sold.

I also wonder if you have had any callback.

I too am getting these calls almost everyday at all hours of the day and night.  I searched the internet and found several comments and complaint regarding this company. Like everyone else, when I answer the call, Steve tells me he is with the Davie Police and are looking for donations.  I called the Davie Police Department and no one there knowns anything about this and warned me it was a scam.  I then decided to file a complaint with my local Office of the Attorney General http://myfloridalegal.com/pages.nsf/Main/60FD9BD8FA71A5B185256CD1005EE5C5

who ever they are if they are told not to call ,we are not interested they should. we are entitled to our privacy. no if's no buts. check out all the complaints just before mine. that should tell you something about this company.rude, abusive and annoying. I've said my peace now you do what you do to stop them in thier tracks. forever grateful

For several weeks I have been receiving calls from 9 around 630 PM and a message is never left, but the caller holds on long enough so that my message light flashes.The number that appears is 358-2224, no area code.
I entered the company name in Google and found this website.I am not sure of what I am accomplishing with providing my complaint. However I did see other sites that have indicated that many people seem to experiencing similar problems, know who the people are and have been unable to stop it
and I am not sure why.

Police departments, organizations, of groups will NEVER call your home and ask you for money. J&G of south florida are CROOKS. We are having them investigated.

Why not call them and ask them to remove you from their list, what all the drama about?

"We are having them investigated."

For what?
Stop wasting our police department time!  
Maybe you should start by call the local FOP.

Did you call the Davie Fraternal Order of Police. They the one who are calling you.
