Got a call today from this number..I got the message and it was from a "Rachel".  She told the receptionist that I had a case pending on me against my SS# for a crime.  The number she left for me to call was 954-358-4084.  It is a scam and I will not return the call.  I asked what the name of the company was and she said "Jason/Jasen Reed Associates.  I asked for a 1-800 number and she told me that they dont have one.  It's a SCAM.  They can NOT arrest you and there is nothing you can do.  Report any and all info to the FTC and your local authorities.

I got the same call today. This guy has been harassing me on my job for over a month. He gave information to my supervisor that he should not have. Today he tells me that I am in deep trouble and that he is the only one who can help me. It's the same man but changes his name each time. Left a call back number of 954-358-4084

THEY HAVE CALLED ME MULTIPLE TIMES - HAVE THREATENED TO HAVE ME ARRESTED AT MY PLACE OF BUSINESS - HAVE TOLD ME I WILL ROT IN JAIL - ONLY THEY CAN HELP ME - THEN WHEN I ASKED FOR A CASE NUMBER OR OFFERED TO PROVIDE THEM WITH MY ATTORNEY'S INFO THEY HUNG UP - THIS IS A BUNCH OF NONSENSE -

My father recieved a call from 954-358-4084 from a guy calling himself Martin.  My father contacted me so I called the number back, A man with a heavy accent answered the phone and stated his name was Peter and when I attempted to get information about the nature of the call he would not give me any information nor transfer me to anyone who could he stated he did not like my attitude and that he would take me to court. I attempted to contact the company numerous times via the same number and always the same guy answered. Still refusing to give me any information.

Obviously these people have no clue how law works you cant go to jail for a civil agreement, such as contracts.  they are simply using scare tactics and high pressure collections. Dont buy into it!

A "Dean Smith" called my job today from this number and left messages within minutes.  He told someone at my job that he can help me.  Help me with what I have no idea as I do no know you.  I looked up the telephone number and it came from someone in Florida.  I also looked up the name (Financial Misconduct) and found that it was associated with Morgan & Associates, a company that has called my job before for which I taped recorded conversations of individuals threatening me with incarceration for an alleged payday loan.  I even had an attorney try to speak to them and they hung up on him.

We've been getting these calls for over 3 hours today. He calls as soon as we hang up on him. This is a place of business. Ridiculous!

           This is Steve representing our Clients who are huge payday loan vendors. We are working according to the guidelines of the FDCPA. So there is no way that someone from my company would have threaten anyone saying that they gonna send cops to pick them up. Its really very panicky when people take loans and does not recall.

"steve" if that is your real name...You are a real peach.  You have been posting your comments under different numbers.  We know that your "ILLEGAL" so called "company" has violated the guidelines of the FDCPA and EVERYONE under your "HUGE PAYDAY LOAN VENDORS" knows this.  Let me ask this.....If this "company" is acting the way it should then explain to me why "rachel" called me at my place of employment on May 22nd 2009 and spoke to my co-worker and told her that I had a "legal case against me with my SS # on it?  Why did she discuss this with her?  Why did "RACHEL" call from 343-729-0397 but wanted me to call 954-358-4084?

The reason I have not paid a penny and WILL NOT pay anything is because for 3 years no one will send me any written documentation!!  I believe that all of the good people that post on this site would agree.  We don't take highly when someone calls at our place of employment when we have told them SEVERAL times not to call us. Or, when they give fake names and say you are going to be arrested for not paying. OR, they are calling and they sound like they are in a warehouse SCREAMING on the phone.

You and anyone else using fake names are pretty much wasting time!

They give a bogus address on bayview ct in ft lauderdale, and bayview ct in fort meyers and bayview ct in jacksonsville fl and gave some bogus number to call in california 949-743-1049 but don't give any info or send anything in writting to me law requires a company to provide proof before sending any money to them and they threathen you also  they don't state anything about the call being recording by law if collecting monies from a person federal law requires calls to be recorded and if you ask they say yes we are recording but than its illegal to reocord anyone without notifying them also they claim a different payday loan company name everytime i call in to get details

Hey Steve!  Or is that not your real name??  Or is it Peter Brown, Robert, Shawn Carter, Dexter Collins (my personal favorite), Patrick, Paul Harris, Thomas Wilson, James...?  I just read your little note to everybody and got a good laugh!  So this is YOUR company??  Do you even know the guidelines fo the FDCPA?  Do you even know what FDCPA means (I've attached the link for you so you can read up on it)?  And your office is registered??  Who with?  Are you even in this country?  You are such a joke!  And when you write a little note like the one you just posted, then please learn proper grammar.  See, when you say "do not feel hesitate and kindly call us back for more information" that tells everyone that you are a joke.  Learn to type and pronounce proper English. I hope more people read these comments from others so we can all have a big laugh.  You are a scam.  For a company that won't even send out any information on this "supposed" debt, is a total joke.  Learn the American law!  Oh, and Steve, here's something that you might like to look up on the computer....http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/credit/cre27.pdf.  It's called "FAIR DEBT COLLECTION PRACTICES ACT".  In case you don't know what that is, it's a law that you are breaking.  Oh, and when you tell somebody to show up for court at 8 AM the next day, tell them what courthouse to go to.  But since you know the law so well, you should know that you have to serve someone papers (it's call a Summons).  Just google the word "Summons" and it will tell you exactly what it means.  But what I really get a kick out of is when you say you are sending "authorities to come get me". See, if you look up that link I just gave you called the "FAIR DEBT COLLECTION PRACTICES ACT", you will see that you are breaking the law again, Steve.  I think you might need to talk to your "employees" that they can't threaten to send people.  I have recordings of your "employees" saying this.  But the biggest problem I have with you is that when people tell you to stop calling them at work, you continue to do so.  Tisk, tisk...

Steve, if you are going to do any of the things you tell us, then please follow through with it.  This gets really old.

So to everybody who is receiving calls from people with thick, heavy accents with American names they can't even pronounce themselves, please know that they can't do anything to you, they cannot arrest you, take you to court, file anything on your SS#.  Keep any eye on your account.  Close it if you have to.  Check your credit report too.  These people, if that's what they think they are, are scam artists.  They get joy out of doing this to everybody.  Don't pay them any money and don't give them out any information on your bank accounts or credit cards.  Don't let them intimidate you or make you do anything.  If you can, record the conversations.  File a complaint with your state's attorney general's office, the Federal Trade Commission "FTC" and the FBI.  All in all, just simply hang up.

I received a call from a Ryan Smith back on May 18, 2009 stating that there was a "pending" case against me.  I have dealt with these people over the past year and have nothing better else to do.  You are no Jason Reed & Associates and have filed a complaint with the FTC, Attorney General and FBI. The number called is 343-729-0397 (prepaid calling card) and then left this number to call back 954-358-4084.

Again, my mom received a call yesterday and stating they were from the State Attorneys office. What a joke and using a bayview court address.

GET A LIFE AND STOP BADGERING US.

A "Bill Smith" just called my job - he said I must return his call and it's a 'legal matter'.... this has been going on for OVER a year now.  I have filed with the BBB and spoke with my attorney general.  They just keep calling anyway,  from different numbers too.  They are a payday loan collection - I PAID OFF my loan... and then some!  had to close my account because they kept debiting from it and causing me charges.  Now they claim I still owe them, blah blah blah.  They just try and bully people into giving them money.  they actually got my co-worker's name from somewhere (probably our co directory) and called her and told her that I put her down as a co-signer and that made her responsible to pay my debt since I haven't!!!!  I couldn't believe it!  I cant believe these people get away with this.  I cant get calls at work anymore because of these [***]!  They have even argued with my boss who told them they can no longer call here!  
anyway,  they have other #'s too... use your cell phone and prank them all day and it wont cost.  Thats what I do all the time now.  and I've given their #s out to many people that call and harrass them too!  LOL   It's pretty entertaining to hear them get all flustered when they are being harrassed!!!  LOLOL  just dont forget to block your number.  :)

this guy named Shaun Carter has called my job every day for a week
he called 11 times yesterday and refuses to give any other names besides the ones listed below and refuses to give name of business and address
he calls to any one at my job including  my manager who repeatly asked him not to call. he replied today he didn't care if i lost my job or not
i reported them to attorney general on 5-27 and i today i called to the FBI
i am so afaird that this may cost me my job. he told me to send him money then he would send me info in mail but yet he refuses to give any address.
The attorney general's office said that payday loans are against the law in nc. This Shaun Carter has argued with everyone at my job and tells my co-workers my info and that to is against the law
these guys or guy with names of henry, paul and shaun at this #954-358-4084  have to  be stopped they or he doesn't care if you get fired or not
i plan to to call FBI , FDC or Attorney General or whoever i can to get these people off my back and stop them alltogether.

These guys have been calling me a lot.  So I decided to call them back.  Talked with "Robert Bryant".  Said he was with the "Financial Infraction Division".  I gave him a fake name, a fake 4-digit SS# and a fake phone number.  I asked him what this was for and he said it was for a payday loan and they represented Cash Net USA.  I told him that I never took out a loan and that possibly somebody could have opened a payday loan under my name.  I kept telling him I was concerned because the message they had left me said that I needed to show up for court on Monday at 8 or they were sending the authorities to my work place.  He said never mind that.  He told me that whoever took out the loan, I had to pay.  I asked if I could mail him a check, he said no.  I asked for an address for him and he said he wasn't suppose to give it out.  I asked for something in writing telling me about this debt and what date and year this was taken out on.  He said they could not do that either.  I asked him if they took American Express and he said no, only visa and mastercard.  I told him that I didn't have that and he asked me if I had friends that I could borrow from.  I told him that they didn't have credit cards either.  I told him I could send a check and he asked me if I had the money to do that.  I said no, but I could pull some from my savings.  He said he couldn't take checks.  So he asked me if we have a Walmart in our town.  I said it was an hour and a half away.  He told me he needed it in an hour and I said I didn't get off work til 5 and by the time I reached Walmart and called him back it would be past 9 PM.  I told him that I would do my best, but what if I don't make it today??  I told him that I was really scared that I might have a legal case filed against me and people would be by to arrest me.  He said to call him back by 7 PM to let him know what I was doing.  I asked him how much I needed to put on the card and he said $475.

So here's the thing.....the name I gave him was totally made up (my last name was a rock formation in the earth about 18 letters long), the 4-digit ss# was made up (switched my own around, also notice they never ask you for your FULL SS# because they do not even have it), and my phone number was totally made up (gave him the number to the local Walmart).  Even after giving him all of that and him "pretending to look me up", he still wanted me to send money.  HE made up an amount and a year it was taken out.  Unbelievable.  

This is a huge scam. If you call the number and just listen, you can actually hear them in the background yelling at people telling them they are in big, big trouble.  PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!  DON'T FALL FOR THIS!!  Do not send them any money.  They are breaking every law.  Just remember, they can not arrest you, take you to court or get you fired.  I hope that people do call this number and listen to them.  Listen to how they talk.  They really are stupid.  Without even giving my name, I asked them why they continue to call people when we have asked repeatedly they not call us at work.  You know what they say?  They say that "We Americans are really stupid" and that we will fall for anything.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!  Do not fall for this scam.  I hope one day they will all eventually get caught.  And I hope that word gets out that these people are frauds and scammers.

my son received severasl voice mails from this phone number looking for my husband, saying they are with the state of florida and that he has committed a financial misconduct, and that my husband used our son as a reference. called them back got someone named steve jones, the name they left on the voice mail was stanley. asked me for a return number so that they could pull the paper work and call me back in 20 minutes or so, told them no to talk to me now and tell me what this was about he would not give me any more information. i hung up on him
