Claims to be some TV show researcher.

I got the same call today... where Mr. Cohen (the TV show's principle) wants to do an interview with me tomorrow. They would tell me nothing about the "show" other than it being called "Business Day". I told them to email me info about the show and we'll decide if we want to be on it.

I have been approached in the past by scam "TV Shows" where they ask you for money to appear on their show because "they reach a lot of viewers". This sounds oddly similar.

I got the email that was promised. The link pointed to http://businessdaytv.com/ which looks nice and professional. Then I did a search on Google and found this article written about SCAM TV SHOWS on CBS NEWS:

Exactly as I thought: these are SCAM shows where they make YOU pay money to appear on their show. What's worse, they pretend and package it as though it is news. Not only is this disingenuous, but also a SCAM. NO ONE has to pay to be on a "news segment" - EVER!

Got a call from this number. Didn't answer, no message. They called several times in the past 2 weeks.

This is for a tv show where you have to pay for.
SCAM

We received a call and VM from a "Justine" who works with "Ron Goodman" for "AdditionsTV" and they wanted to speak with our CEO about a piece on fuels for the future.  I couldn't understand the area code but here is the return number - (7- -) 536-1609 yet the number on my caller ID shows (954-379-4888) - SCAM for sure!

Received a phone call today from 954-379-4888 from women representing Mr. Goodman wanting to do a TV  segment on my company. She said Terry Bradshaw produces it. When I questioned about Terry Bradshaw she said; "I don't know anything about Terry Bradshaw" A few more pointed questions revealed some kind of scam I wouldn't give her rest of my time. Stay away!

Received a call from this number with message "from mike ... lee and eddie".

I got a call from a Nancy Campbell from phone number (954)379-4888.  Nancy said she was with ABC News and that they are producing a series called “Oil & Gas Report”. She said the producer, Patrick Holliday (part of Studio Bradshaw) wanted to interview me on their new segment called “Improving operational efficiencies through effective support solutions”.

That sounded a little too defined for ABC news, plus we use the similar tagline on our website and on flyers.

She game me her call back number as (954) 379-4326, and set me up with a conference call withe the producer.

I goggled the number she provided along with “Studio Bradshaw” and found it was a scam.  Studio Bradshaw is at the same address as a Maya Taqueira restaurant.

It’s amazing what effort people will go through to scam others.

My main questions is .. does Terry Bradshaw know they are using his name?  If he does, why hasn't he made an effort to stop this?

Just received a phone call asking to speak with the CEO of my company. He was unavailable for any calls so I took a message, she said her name was Marie and she was with a company called Networth. I asked her what the call was in regards to and she said she needed to schedule a time for our CEO to speak with their producer. She left a call back # of 954-905-3802. Scam.

Schedule a root canal for your CEO instead. He'll enjoy it more and it won't cost him as much!

They just called me with a vaguely industry targeted show and asked for a random sounding name as CEO (Harvey Thorn I believe). I informed them someone was calling around and trying to get payment for video spots and disguising it as news and asked if that was their business model. The woman on the phone quietly said they should probably have their producer (a Mr. Corvair) call me directly. I don't expect a followup call.

They've called and left three messages over the past 3-4 weeks.  Most recent call today was from Melissa Liebowitz (producer).  They are a business that entices you to participate in an industry related news video but the catch is that it will cost you several thousand dollars.  It looks like this studio uses different "shows" in their pitch.  Our company gets a 1-2 calls from companies like this every year - as CEO I'm fairly certain I can find other places to spend the money that will help to grow my business.

This company has called in the past with different spins! Today they called and wanted to speak on the VP of the company and they COULD NOT pronounce his name! I did a little more research and it brought me here....

Just got a call from (954) 379-4888, asked to speak with the owner who was not available. Caller said she will call back later. Did some research and found this page. Thank you for the great info. Hope no one falls for this scam!

Called asking for my boss and claimed to be from "Health Watch."  Caller ID came up as" United States..."  The guy claimed to be the Producer and didn't want to leave a message.  I called the number back and hear a recording stating "You've reached Terry Bradshaw at the Studios" with automated prompts following.   Glad I found this site and realized this is a scam.

Phone call that came up on Caller ID was actually 954-505-5265.
