954-379-8564

These guys call early in the morning claiming to be law enforcement from Massachusets. The guy they are looking for has the same name but wrong last 4 of soc sec #. Saying they are going to issue a summons for arrest in my state if I don't call back. The number is a Florida number 954-379-8564. I'm waiting for the end game but I'm sure it will be extortion of some type, trying to get me to pay a fine or something to get money.

This is a debt collection agency using the completely ILLEGAL tactic of impersonating law enforcement.  Do not give them any information and block the number.

SCAMMER - NOT A DEBT COLLECTION COMPANY - They are using voip phones, not legitimate collectors, just scam artists trying to scare people into giving them money.  Don't fall for it, there is no debtors prison in the US, if they were legitimate collectors they would definitely not be stupid enough to threaten anyone with jail.

Name given was Marshall Joe Thomas.

I got a phone call from this same man Marshal Joe Thomas, however he uses Marshal, like he is one. Claims I have a payday loan that I owe from feb 2011. He has threatened me with jail, check fraud etc.  I've askes for proof by email and mail. Because he continues to get my email incorrect. And I have yet to receive any mail. Glad I checked this nu.
