954-449-9240

I received a message from this number stating, "Hi this message is for First Name, Last Name.  My name is Mike from Direct Buy in Davie.  I am calling about your entry in our $50,000 Home Makeover Giveaway.  I need to speak with you and confirm your information before I can enter you in the giveaway.  You can contact me at 954-449-9208.  I will try you again later."

I have NOT entered a giveaway with Direct Buy.  I would remember because I do not like Direct Buy.  I think they are an overpriced scam and if you google "Direct Buy scam" you will see what I mean.  I also know I did not enter their giveaway because I always use my full legal name and he used my nickname when he said my name.

This is just another way for them to fish for people to add to their database.  I have saved both numbers and will not be speaking with them.

I received a notice in the mail from "Our Promotional Department" that I had been awarded a "New 7" Tablet complete with Android O/S, Camera and Wifi.  Our records indicate that by responding within 72 hours you will also receive a $100 Restaurant Dining Card.  To claim this special ofer, simply call this local number! 1-954-449-9208."  Then it gives the days and times to call.  They even gave me an Offer Number.  I have no idea who these people are and I have not entered any giveaways, etc.

I did not receive a call from this number, but I did receive the same exact notice as furrykidsmom.  This is the return call number.  I did not enter any giveway either.  Looks like a scam based on the envelope, so I won't be calling.

I did not receive a call, but a letter notifying me about winning the 7" Android tablet with the same info and phone number.

I received the same letter as furrykidzmom.
Funny it says that I (they have my name correct) have been awarded a new 7" Tablet...., but one of the  restrictions is that I have to be employed full time.

It is probably a Time-share deal.

An employee having an affair with my boyfriend called me from this number at 9pm at night when their offices are closed. How professional Direct Buy.  954 449 9270

I received an unsolicited "giveaway" asking me to call and confirm...starting any relationship under false pretenses is a bad thing. Throw it away!

I called the number blocking it so the don't trace it.  Got an answering machine telling me to leave my name and contact number they would then contact me with 15 min.

This was for the mail offering a tablet and 100.00 restaurant.  That is as far as I go.
