The moment I realized it was yet another annoying telemarketer I hung up.

Wow these companies are getting more and more brazen lately.

The caller id simply said "Hollywood FL" and the number, but the message on the machine was an offer for Satellite TV. At the end they said "press 2" to remove your name from the list, but I thought it was still safer to just let the phone call run out.

I got the call this morning driving to work.  They were trying to sell shares  in a company. Totally bogus.

I called the number right back (w/in 5 minutes) and recording said number was temporarily disconnected.

i got the call too.  i picked, no one one there.

Got unwanted marketing call and my number is on do-not-call list!

Got a call from 954-639-4136 on my home phone in Cincinnati. No message was left. I called the number back within 15 minutes and a recording said that the number had been temporarily disconnected. How can you get a call from a disconnected number?

954-639-4136 - this number called me again here in  ILL - no message and ID is "unavailable" - who are these people

This nitwit keeps calling us in Florida; no one on the other end.  What a jerk !!!

Just got a call from this number moments ago to my office phone; was a person saying that "A person would be calling me in the next week or so to give me advice on investing in the stock market"...I said I already had a financial advisor, blah blah blah, and that this was my office phone, and the woman, who had an accent, said that she thought it might be a good idea to get "another opinion on investing". Said I wasn't interested again and hung up. And now I see this? Hmm. Definitely a scam, considering the phone number appears to be hawking satellite TV service and stock investing. Showed up as "FLORIDA CALL" for me, and when I called back immediately, recording said line was "temporarily disconnected". They're probably just spoofing that number anyway.

Something that is possibly (probably) unrelated is that I just signed up for Google Grand Central (grandcentral.com) today, which is essentially an online voicemail and call redirection service, and then got this call minutes later, and I have NEVER gotten a telemarketing call on my work number. Like I said, probably just complete coincidence, but I mention it because it was the only odd thing I did related to my office phone number recently.

Asked it I want a satellite system installed because "installers are in your neighborhood."

Got the call today on my cell phone at 9:30AM PST.  Caller didn't leave a message.

Called 09:19 CST 16 Nov 2007. Hung up as soon as answering machine message started to play.

I received the call on my home phone at 9:45am. It rang twice and disconnected before I got to answer. Caller ID showed 954-639-4136 and that it originated from Ft Lauderdale, FL.

Oh yeah, I'm in North Dakota.

Hi Folks, I also got a call from this number. There was apparantly someone on the other end, but they simply didn't talk...maybe cat had their tongue? I did a "Google" search on the number and really didn't come up with much. I then called AT&T and asked if they could identify the phone number. They were able to assist and said the phone number belongs to a company called Supra Telecom located in Delray Beach, FL. I tried calling their customer service number, but apparantly you have to have service with them to get anywhere with that. I did find a number listed for 'sales', however, and I intend to give them a call tomorrow. You can find that number on their web-site at www.supratelecom.com
