I got a call from this number on my cell phone!!! It was a missed call and they didn't leave a voice message. I'm annoyed because I too am on the do not call list.

solitation - carpet cleaning.  I am on the "do not call" list and this company has called several times.

Just got a call from 954-639-9022, caller id says "HOLLYWOOD, FL".  Automated message saying I've been selected for carpet cleaning and to press '1' to make an appointment.  I'm on the do not call list, so thought I'd press '1' and see why they're calling my number.  The woman who answered the phone said was sorry to bother me....????? WTF????  And to please hold.... she never came back.  I called the number that came up on the caller id and guess what?  It's not in service.  I've filed a complaint with the do not call list, but don't think that'll do any good.  Why are these scumm allowed to do this?

Confirm that when dialing back the number says it is disconnected.

Maybe they are preying on vacant homes??

This is a recording from a Diane who wants to clean our carpet....and then press one and I did get a live person named Vanessa this time and when I asked her for her business address, she hung up on me. These people call here all the time and I am sick of it!

I get calls from this number on my caller ID every week or so. When I call the number, I get a recording that says "The number you have dialed is not is service. Please check the number and dial again."

HOWEVER, this recording is NOT the same recording that the phone company uses. This is a CLEVER TRICK on their part to escape justice. I'm registered with the do not call list and I'm reporting them right now. I encourage everyone else to do so as well. I believe it takes a certain number of complaints about the same number before it is investigated.
