its a scam. They called me today and the indian dude cussed at me because I didn't believe him. How professional is that!!!! LOL I sure pissed him off though. Dont listen to these low lifes.

the best part is the lawyer whose office they claim to represent specializes in adoptions, family law; she is also aware of this scam and urges people to not send them anything.

I have recieved calls from them too and they seem to have personal information about me and i dont understand how they recieved it and they are saying i am going to court and stuff but the crazy part is they are saying to pay them 950 bucks and get a prepaid phone card from walmart and put the money on it and that they need all that informatin and a notorized letter aswell. I feel scared but at the same time this is not sitting well with me i think i am going to change my#

I too received a phone call from the same person with bad english, asking me to verify my personal information.  He had all my personal info correct and once I told him my SSN and address were incorrect, he put me on hold.  He verified again, if i was sure the SSN was incorrect I told him it was incorrect.  He then put me on hold and then nothing, he hung up and I have not received a call again.  I got this same phone call last year about this time.  Again, they had all my personal information and bank information.  My husband and I alerted our bank and they advised us to close our account.

They left a message for us in bad english also saying crazy stuff stating they were from attorney "James Smith's" office.  I tried to return the call and kept getting a busy signal all the time.
