Recieved a text saying a bank account of mine was temporarily closed.  From "Bank Of Lancaster." I do not have an account with this company

Dear Bank Of Lancaster customer, we regret to inform you that we had to lock your account access. Call (954)734-9837 to restore your bank account.

I don't think I have an account wuth them so I called & they wanted my ss number. I don't think so.

I got the same text and I don't have an account with them either! Where did they get my number?

Got a text message from this number regarding an account at Bank of Lancaster. I don't have an account there. Even if I did, does anyone think I'd be stupid enough to give financial info to someone who sent me a text message?

I received same message as above.PNC bank has just taken over Bank of Lancaster Bank.They will open their doors as of Monday at 11:00AM on Monday.I called PNC and reported my card lost or stolen.they have closed my account down.Do not give them any information-----!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i just got the same message too....here is the funny thing..that phone number is a brittish phone number...how do i know? because my one best friend is form england and i have to dial 01144 to get to him before i dial the house number..it's a scam

I would pull your credit report. This might be a form of id theft. It might have already been stolen.
