- Florida Foreclosure Law Group is a SCAM!| 3 repliesIf even half of what I am about to say is true, you owe it to yourself and your family to STAY AWAY from Florida Foreclosure Law Group. There are plenty of law firms without any negative reviews like this online, so don't risk your house with these guys. The main attorney, Scott Podvin, is the stereotype of attorneys you hear about. Complete scam. He does not care about the clients, only how long he can drag cases out. They really start making money over the 6 month mark of you being a client. They yell at their associate attorney's if the attorneys resolve a case too quickly!!! Unbelievable.
Scott Podvin does not work on individual cases. He has 17 Better Business Bureau Complaints THIS YEAR ALONE! Most people don't waste their own time to complain, so you can imagine what the number would be if the BBB didn't have such an involved process. 17 complaints in 12 months!

Obviously they are not doing their job right. The only reason Scott Podvin has a clean Florida Bar record is because he settles with clients out of court. Basically screws you over, then he throws money at the problem. Same with the Better Business Bureau. If you complain, he will refund you just to get a “closed” complaint.
Like I said, Foreclosure Defense and Loan Modification attorney's are everywhere! And they will do it for cheaper. No need to even risk me being right about all this with your house. The toll-free number they give you is (888)344-8287. If you are not sure that you are talking to Florida Foreclosure Law Group, ask if the main attorney is Scott Podvin. If so, RUN don't walk.- Caller: Florida Foreclosure Law Group

- Unhappy client replies to Mary Gentry| 3 repliesThat's great that you did your research. I was not so lucky with this firm and got scammed out of thousands of dollars. I was afraid of loosing my home and didn't know who to turn too. I was with them for at least a year and I am in worse shape with my home now than I was when I was with this firm. I am fighting for my home and hopefully I will be successful at keeping it but because this firm pretty much such on my file for a year, I am now further behind and may not be able to modify my loan. Good luck.
- Darlene McElwee replies to Unhappy client| 2 repliesI got scammed to. Unfortunately I was so afraid and confused, they said they could save mu home. I eve. Got a call from a Rory Podvin who told me "he had really good news, that my foreclosure was dismissed due to lack of prosecution" I have paid them thousands of dollars and just got a letter of final judgement on Friday. I'm freaking out! I have lived in my home for over 22 years. Only after my husband's job loss , him suffering a stroke, our losing our insurance, my own p injury from 3 car accidents, which led to the loss of my job.and constant denial of disability. I am awaiting my disability appeal hearing. Once that is settled I will have no problem catching up and maintaining my mortgage payment. However due to my trust in Podvin law group, I may not have the time I need. Please pray for me.
- Sam Taylor replies to Florida Foreclosure Law Group is a SCAM!It is good to know that post like this are available . I can't say all lawyers and or law firms are bad. This one is horrible. - Dan replies to Florida Foreclosure Law Group is a SCAM!You are correct. However, it appears that the general public enjoys being taken for a ride,
- Dan replies to Mary GentryGreat decision,
- Dan replies to Florida Foreclosure Law Group is a SCAM!Lawyers/liars are registered bar members where they pay a member fee. When a consumer complains to the Bar Assoc it appears that it falls on death ears. They seem to be in bed together, Most people DONT bite the hand that feeds them. Be Aware
- Satisfied Client| 1 replyI got a great loan modification from this attorney's law group, and my home, in spite of me not paying my mortgage for close to two years, was saved. Thank God for Florida Foreclosure Law Group

- Dominic Spirito| 4 repliesA God send!!! My wife passed away and I was laid off. I got a call out of the blue just before these heartless [***] were going to sell my home. Scott Podvin had his attorneys stop the sale of my home, and get me an affordable payment. If anybody was to blame for not paying my mortgage it would be circumstance. Bottom line these guys saved my home!!

I am also proud to announce that I am a lying shill, and so is Satisfied Client. Actually the two reviews weree written by me. I want pretty red stamps, now! - Anonymous replies to Darlene McElweeYour case was dropped and then re-filed. The sad thing is these home owners, who for one reason or another, are unable to make their mortgage payment. In some cases to stretch their time and prevent them from sleeping in the street is the only option.
