This number tried to call my cell number but I have the calling number blocked from a previous scam calling of my cell phone. I have the Call Control app on my phone to where the number is blocked, yet somehow even though the app blocks the number to prevent me being disturbed by these people a message still got through to my voicemail.

The voicemail is in a "female" computer voice with the spiel of "Your student loan has been flagged for a reduction in interest" at which time I deleted the voicemail.  I have NO student loan!  There is NO true, honest and valid reason to call me!  It is a criminal attempt by criminals to defraud a person out of their personal identity, as well as probably also one's financial information.

Call Control HAS identified the call as a SCAM!  The state attorney general in my state advises the Do Not Call Registry is down, any report one thinks they are reporting goes nowhere.  The office also stated that these calls have become so rampant they are coming in faster than they can track the source of the calls and the criminals behind them down.

Because I have valid information from my Call Block app that this IS a "SCAM" call and because 800Notes does not have a call type for Scam Calls, I have left the call type as Unknown.  These calls are getting very frustrating, annoying and harrassing.

Every 10 days or so, they leave a taped message on my answering machine: "Good morning, I'm calling from WNC Community Services, Does Holly want to complete her dental insurance application from Sept 2015?. They call from different numbers and area codes each time or must use an app to change the number, but each time, the message identical is word-for-word. I've reported them to the FTC. The caller does not give his name. I called the real hospital he named and they had no idea what it was about.

Scam. Just a bunch of idiots that can't get a real job. Probably a bunch of grade school dropouts.

A recorded message from "Tiffany at the National Student Loan Debt" something-or-other, saying that my debt had been "flagged."  I have never had a student loan or applied for one and have no debt to any company or entity.  I've been on the Do Not Call list for years and suddenly I'm getting multiple robocalls every week from all different number about student loans (never had any), mortgage interest rates (I rent and have never owned a home or had a mortgage), that I've won a cruise (WTF??), etc.  I'm getting these calls on my cell phone; I thought they only called landlines but I suppose that is incorrect.

Wanted me to consolidate my student loans. I graduated in 1970. For years the do not call list worked. Now I am getting robocalls.  I am turning them in.

I received a call from this # on my cellphone. I do not know anyone in Texas, so I did not answer it. No message was left, so I blocked it.

robocall - same as everyone else is reporting - message about student loan (Don't have one)
