The caller ID on my personal cell phone showed an unfamiliar number but due to a family crisis, I am reluctantly answering all calls right now.  Instead of saying "Hello?" I answered with an upbeat, "Hi, who is calling?"  I heard the background sounds of a busy call center and a lady said, "Sally?"  I again asked, "Who is calling?"  She replied, "Natalie.  Is this Sally?  SallyBerry?"  I responded, "What company are you calling from?"  She heaved a sigh then hung up.  From her accent, I believe she works at a call center in Mexico.

Or a call center anywhere in the world since simply having an accent doesn't mean you're actually in the country that accent originates from.
