That's one way to do marketing.....

This phone number is from Century Link and they want me to give them money to get them to stop calling me. I have asked this company several times to stop calling my home and cell phone several times and they wont stop. The FCC is closed due to governemnt shut down

This is a credit card refinancing company who will not accept anyone who requests to be placed on the "do not call list".  The robo-call you and then place you on hold to talk to a live operator.  As soon as you mention the words "do not call list" the live operator hangs up.

If they are this shady about doing business and complying with laws regarding telemarketing I would suggest they are not an organization you would want to have any financial dealings.

Automated system offered to reduce credit card debt if I press 1 to speak with a rep. After being asked if I had $400 or more in debt I said no and the woman said "disregard" and hung up.
I reported the spam caller to Quest since they own the landline: 1-866-450-6152. Callers spammed by this number should report it to the phone provider.

Rec'd a call from 970-968-0780 11:10 AM Thu 10/10/2013. I was unabke to answer. I returned call at noon. I rec'd answer that it is a non-working number. Sent text message to "stop". Rec'd text message from my carrier that my text could not be delivered.

Found this number in my Google Voice spam folder already! Good job Google!

Scammers trying to get you hooked on lowering credit card interest which is a scammers way of saying, iwil get your personal info and scam you BIG TIME!! Also received a second call two minutes after that call claiming to be a psychic in Dallas,Texas who will help you with all your money problems. This is total nonsense and BS., do not fall for this garbage. Psychic business on northwest highway in Garland, Texas. Business name is "psychic Readings". Stay away from these crooks and hang up the phone and call states attorney general.

I pressed one as instructed but as soon as I said I
m on the do not call they hung up on me.

Also received a call but no message was left.  Will also block via iPhone iOS7.

Got a call from this number just now. The next time they call, they will be treated to my anti-spam "blow a police whistle into the mic until they scream" dissuasion method. After being hung up on EVERY time I ask these scammers to NOT call back, I am done being polite. (BTW: Every spammer/scammer who has been on the receiving end of this method has NEVER called back. Guess it takes a blown eardrum to get these jerks to stop calling.)

How do we stop robo calls? Traveling in Europe and answering charges me $.

BLOCK the number and they can never get through.  I do not take calls from "unknown" numbers or from numbers I do not recognize, and look them up on BING, if not listed, they are blocked.  PLUS  use this  National Do Not Call Registry
