- AprilI received a call from this morning, at 7:00 Am, Calgary, Alberta time, ( when I was planning to sleep in) , I answered, and I said twice Hello! but nobody said anything, then they hung up on me.
- RonGot a call this morning from Mr. Heavy Accent. My wife has had calls from these folks all week and she just yells at them and hangs up. Today, I had some time on my hands, so, after flushing the toilet and getting the dogs all wound up and barking, I finally sat down in front of my computer and slowly followed his directions. Faking ignorance and misunderstanding, I wasted 15 minutes of his time and all we got to was the event viewer before he hung up. Not two minutes later, phone calls from the same area code and prefix with the last four of 9518 and 9514, plus one from 425-406-9022 all came in, which I ignored.
- Caller: Homesecurity
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Homo hablisI think this creep qualifies his calls- if you sound threatening he hangs up, if you sound like a mark he engages you. If he does talk to you, call him All the worst namea you can think of.
HH - TechnoJoeScam. Claimed to be from "Microsoft IT." He wanted to prove he was from Microsoft by showing me that he knew a CLSID number on my computer. That isn't was CLSID numbers are for, and they're they same on every computer. He said he would "fix" my computer for a nominal fee.
