This is about the fourth in a series of calls from the 971 area code.  I do not answer the calls but this one came over caller id as "V01231718420". My answering machine picked up the tail end of lowering interest rates and if I pressed 3, I could be removed.  Robot dialing should be outlawed and these companies be put out of business.  If they are financial institutions that took federal bail outs, they should be heavily fined.

I have been receiving calls from 971-217-9595 and every time I pick up it hangs up ~ when I call back it says the number is no longer in service.... Sick of it and blocked the calls but beware it's annoying.........

Starting in March 2012 I began receiving robot calls from the same telemarketer that used the following rotating set of numbers (they call every 45 minutes monday through friday, never on weekends).

I, too am very frustrated about these calls.  The same exact thing will happen to me as well...ignoring it does not help! It should be totally illegal to constantly call a cell phone when they have somehow acquired the number from another source...blocking it now! I just kept thinking it was someone important...

I get many calls from this number daily.  Noone is ever there. Very annoying!

How do you stop these calls?

I AM MY WITTS END WITH ALL THESE CALLS. YOU ANSWER YOUR PHONE AND THERE IS NO ONE THERE, OR THEY SAY IS CHERYL THERE AND YOU SAY THIS IS HER AND THEN HANG UP. OR VOICE RECORDED TELEMARKETING. YOU TRY AND CALL THEM BACK AND YOU GET THE RECORDING OF THIS NUMBER IS NO LONGER IN SERVICE OR A BAD #. THIS IS BULL. THEN YOU LOOK ON HERE AND SEE LOOK UP ANY NUMBER FREE. YEAH RIGHT AGAIN. NO THEY ARE OUT TO GET YOU TOO!!!! EVERYONE IS OUT FOR THAT MIGHTY DOLLAR. IF THERE WAS A LEGIT SITE THAT OPERATED BY DONATIONS ONLY AND WOULD ACTUALLY GIVE YOU THE NAME OF THE CALLER AND WHERE TO CONTACT THEM, THEY WOULD HAVE MY FULL SUPPORT AND DONATIONS. I HAVE FINALLY COME TO THE POINT WHERE I NEVER ANSWER MY PHONE ANYMORE. CAUSE IT'S MOSTLY THESE IDIOTS THAT ARE INVADING YOUR PRIVACY. WAKE UP EVERYONE WE HAVE NO FREEDOM NOR PRIVACY IN THIS WORLD ANYMORE. EVERYONE IS TAKING OVER YOUR LIVES INCLUDING THE GOVERMENT. just got a call from this number, 10:30 a.m. When I answered and said hello, there was a bubble kinda sound and then sounded like a call center in the background so I hung up.

This # calls me almost every day and then hangs up when i answer. very annoying.

The phone number is for Premier health insurance. If you ask them to put you on the do not call registry they hang up on you.

get these calls several times a day!!
