I received a call from Richardson, TX on my cell phone today. I did not pick up and they left a message. Chris from Accurate Location Information Services saying that he is calling in regards to potential civil complaints filed against me. He left a call back number 855-999-8042. I did a little research and It appears to be the same scam and the same people as 929-268-0327, 855-999-8042, and 323-952-8032. I blocked the number.

I recieved another scam call from 972-220-8187 This time a man name Chris from accurate location information services left a message saying it was reguarding a civil suite against me. its the same people who scared the heck out of me when they called from a different number.

Has left several voicemails requesting callbacks regarding pending civil suits? I ignored them because I smell scam.

I just got the same exact call.  Word for word.

I received the same phone call today, after doing some research I found out why they're calling me. I had a loan that I defaulted on 15 years ago. And of course in Illinois the statue of limitation is 10 years. This company Accurate has bought the debt and tries scaring  individuals into thinking they are getting sued, and in some cases people get scared and send in some type of payment...... DONT send any money.... they are trying to collect on a debt that has past the statue  of limitation. They CANNOT COLLECT OR SUE YOU.  NEXT time they call just say they have the wrong number.

I just received the same call different number as you did above, the number was 972-220-8187 and I had pulled it up on the net which is a Dallas number.  This guy threaten me with civil court law suit but I have nothing out there and everything I have is paid for.   I'm going to put it GOD hands.

I answered a call from this number.  The woman calling asked if I was able to accept legal documents for Mike Kelly.  I told her that I didn't know Mike Kelly and she said that they wouldn't  call again and would take my name off "the list."  I asked how she had gotten my number and she claimed that Mike Kelly must have used my name and number as a reference.  I told her that this didn't sound right and that it was more likely that she had gotten my number online and was simply hoping I knew the Mike Kelly that she was looking for.  I told her that it sounded like she was just fishing and I hung up on her.

I just got 4 calls from this number and it was for four different companies..I asked for the name of each company and the guy said he could not give me that information. I left him know that if he couldn't give me the information then any further contact from he company and each person who made the phone call would be considered harassment and they would be hearing my lawyer. He hung up on me.

Just called, left no message.  Added to auto-reject list.

Same, As everyone else Chris from Accuate Location. Stating that I was a male and that I was "Bobbi" had put me down for a reference when they were calling for me! Me being a female and that they were placing fraud against the male version of Bobbi. Ugh people now days.

Called. Left no message. BLOCKED!!!!!

This number called my phone.  I didn't recognize the number or area code so got online to find out more about it.   A couple of rings later, before I found out details, the caller hung up.
Fortunately there are websites such as this that allow these kinds of calls to be identified.
I recommend anybody who receives calls like this to check online before answering and then block the caller.  And don't forget to leave a message on the web site to help others to avoid getting sucked in to these scams.

Same thing. Chris is going to bring charges. I told him I was recording call and he hung up.

Just received a call from this number, no message left. Googled the number and found this post, thank you all for taking the time to make us aware of the scam!  I have blocked this number and hope not to get any others.

Got a call from 972 220 8187 saying they were accurate location information services, and that there was a civil complaint about me.  They gave me a case number and told me to call 855 999 8042 within the next 2 hours.  They spoke proper English with no accent, and were very polite on the phone.  These scammers are getting better and better at it.

I have the same exact message from the same exact number and was trying to figure what was going on and who was calling my cell phone.    So glad I found your message.

The chris guy called and left a num. to call loons it is a scam.
