God these people call every 10 minutes!  I've overpaid Capitol One Auto but somehow they think Im late on my payment.  BITE ME!

Same here...bill has been paid.  Yet they continue to call, even after several Do Not Call requests issued per FDCPA.

(But he probably has nothing to do with whatever you want to resolve - that's almost certainly handled by somebody within the legal department.) The number for the headquarters is 703-720-1000. Ask for the legal department. You can also try 703-205-1105, which is listed on some old correspondence as a number for their legal department, but you may end up being misdirected.

Yes, it's Capitol One.  I call them to make payment arrangements, but unless I do a post-dated check by phone (which costs $15), they'll keep calling (I use my cell as a home phone, so they call all day long every 20 minutes).  Verizon wireless has a new feature called "Do Not Disturb".  You can enter as many numbers as you want, or if you're receiving a call and choose to ignore it, there'll be an option to add that number to your blocked calls.  This sends all these calls directly to voice mail.  It's absolutely wonderful!!

Got a new virgin mobile prepay phone and I'm getting so many unwated calls. I got 4 calls from this number just today. I just enlisted my number in the do not call list, but my guess it will take some time. I even change my voicemail that If they are not calling for my name to stop calling because I'm in the do not call list. Oh well, I'm glad I haven given my number to my family, I may just toss this phone. If you know what to do to stop receiving this call, please posted here. Thanks!

How about the fact that some people DON'T have an auto loan from them and are still getting called by this number???  I have only a credit card from them, and I've been on time every month.  So how is it that an auto loan department should be calling for someone with just a credit card account??

Thanks for the info on Verizon,  I too am a customer, I will consider using it.  I had a problem making my payment on line at Cap 1's website so I had to make araingements throung my bank.  I am only 3 days late and they are calling like I have never paid them.  Come on, every two hours is ridiculious.  Out of 6 calls they finally left a message, then started calling my work number every two hours!

Obviously, someone who works for or is connected in some way to collections or even Cap-1.

It got so bad I had to change the voice line to with the fax line. They keep calling my warehouse for someone who is not here. They wont stop calling. I'm in the back of the warehouse pulling orders and run to the phone just to fine its them *AGAIN*...  HOW RUDE THEY ARE!!!!!! AND THEY WON'T STOP!!!!

how about contacting the FTC??? Anyone tried that yet?

I'm not even associated with Capital one, why the F are they calling me. They call A LOT, too. Someone irresponsible must have had this number before me.

yes they are starting to get annoying. I paid them VIA their website and the payment is pending.. and they are calling every 10 minutes like I am going to leave the planet.. they need to check their internet and CHILL OUT.. (yes its cap one auto finance)

I've had the same phone number for 15 years. I've never dealt with Capital One in any financing and have Do Not Call. They still call 3 to 4 times a day

Holy Land Foundation  HLF, Calls and asks me for a donation of $5 to $100.00.  The person is male with a strong Arabic accent.  Please stop calling.  Helen D.
