Police solicitor scam

Called late in evening and ask for someone, when questioned who this was hung up

I’m getting multiple calls from this number between 8-9 p.m. They will not leave a voicemail.

They are scammers. Block them.

Just got a call from them.  When I answered they asked for George.  When I told them there was no George here they guy said, "Oh, well then maybe you can help me." He then started a schpiel about raising money for some crime thing.  I hung up on him.  Just a typical scammer

Call was automatically blocked as a robo call. CID: Grapevine, TX.

Called claiming to be IRS bogus call! Stated his name was Cole Carter.

They called saying I need to verify address and phone number and tell my side of the story. What story? I don’t have a clue

This number figured out who I was and said that they were the cruise advisor I signed up for months ago. Which is true I did give out my information to a travel agency but I meet the travel advisor personally and have their number saved. I didn’t think anything about and though I actually won a free cruise and answered a couple of yes and no questions. Then I looked up this number and found out it was a scam caller. I didn’t asked the person what company they were from because they know how to lead the conversation.
