You can wind any of them up with repeated calls...seems they do not desire being harasses on the phone.....some start screaming right away....we have used a whistle and called from all the numbers available to us....Scammer Jammer is one reply and we have also called to tell them we are just wasting their time like they do ours!!! I invited everyone to harass they back!!!!!!

Same as described by others - Loud, rude man demanding to speak with the "president" of the company. I said I was the co-owner, and he demanded to speak with the "majority" owner. I said this is our home number, not our residence number, and that the owner is not here, he's at work. He said someone with their company had an appointment with the owner today, and he needed to speak with him. I said no they don't, and who are you and what is this company. He said he was "Michael" with "The Moore Company," and it was about some litigation, and demanded to speak with the owner again. I said, did you not hear me, he's at work, he's not here, we don't have any appointment with you, and there IS no litigation. I guess I wore him out, because he said, "thank you" and hung up.
I expect he'll call again today.

Got a call from these guys as well. He identified himself as 'Jim" from the Smith Industries. Asked for the owner. I knew it was a spam call because only spammers call my boss by his full name. I parked him on hold, and he called back. When pressed he told me it was for a legal matter. I asked the boss if he knew anything. He said no and that was that. I gave "Jim" the opportunity to leave a message, but he didn't answer me so I hung up. He called back again and accused me of hanging up on him again.

That's when he went from arrogant to abusive. He started yelling and told me he had an 845 appointment with "Boss" and to put him on the phone. I told him no. He just got louder and said his appointment was for 845 and for me to look at the clock and tell him what time it is. I said, "Why anre you being a jerk." and he kept yelling "What time is it!" then he switched to loudly demanding I put "Boss" on the phone. I yelled back that what he was doing was illegal and for him to take us off the call list immediately and to stop calling. He just kept yelling back and telling me it was a legal matter and that my boss had an appointment to speak with him and to GIVE HIM THEW MESSAGE!!!11!! I told him the boss had already declined to speak with him and for him to stop calling and hung up. He called back 2 more times and we let it roll to voice mail.

I've had enough of these guys --- getting an air horn!

Keeps calling. I finally decided to answer. Wanted to talk to the owner of company and mentioned his name said he had an appointment to talk to him at 4:30pm. Asked me what time it was here. I informed him that he wasn't here. Evidentially he doesn't understand English. Told me to tell him he was holding for him and he was from the Garza Group. Wanted his direct number. Didn't give him any other information. He wouldn't tell me anything, said it was confidential. He hung up before I could hang up on him!

Call was very rude, stating he need to talk to one of the techs in the field told him he wasn't in the office, I could take a messages, states he has a meeting with him and asked for a cell number.  After I refused they hung up....called the number back and they say oh....they need to talk to the owner calling him by name, told him 3 times he is unavailable and to take us off the any call list, then proceeded to ask for him again.

Just got a call from this #, and I refuse to acknowledge their existence, so I do NOT answer the phone.
I have a feature on my phone where I can forward my home phone calls directly to my cell phone, and there is a feature that I can go into and block that #.  IF...the RUDE, CRUDE harASSers continue to call, the phone rings once and it stops immediately!
Thing of it is, they called MY home phone #.  We do NOT own a business, so why would they be calling our home phone?
After reading ALL these posts, I am thankful I refused to answer that call!
There seems to be NO clear reason in their calling except to be harASSing JERKS, who evidently think it is entertaining for them!  Do they REALLY get paid for this or is it someone who just gets pleasure out of being this way? Get a life that is meaningful, and STOP being a nuisance!

I'll just join the list above and repeat that the caller from this number is rude and tries to get your attention by lying about coming to your house to arrest you.  I've reported it to the BBB and my contacts the Dallas PD.

Very rude caller named oscar called and demanded to speak with owner.  Kept calling back until owner actually got on the phone with him and told him to quit harassing us.

Their technique is to be pushy and act as thought you're going to get in trouble if you don't pass them along.

Some guy asked to talk to the owner about a legal issue. I asked what was the issue and he said it was private and personal, so I told him that he called a retail store and to call the owner at home if its personal. He asked me for the owners phone number, I just laughed and told him good luck, then I blocked the number on my call blocker.

A guy named "tony" kept calling our work number telling me that they are with "customer service" and if you give me your phone number they will look to see what company was calling......Wrong, they just want to get to the owner, demanding me to give me his number and threatening me.  Really, get a real job.  You will not get that info.

All you guys need to do is tell them that you also have your lines recorded.  They hate that.  Once i said my attorney here in the office wants their number along with our recordings, they promised to take me off their list.

Guy called asking for owner. I told them he was not in office. He asked me to double check because he was told to call to speak with him. I told him I can guarantee that he is not in office due to it being his day at his other job to be a station. When I asked if he would like to leave a message he hung up on me.

Just got a call from this number. Very rude guy, says he needs to talk to owner (my husband) about a very important legal matter, about non-durable goods in the town we live. He asked me if I cared about my business then said he was with the Gooding Group and had an appointment to call him at 1, I know this was a lie since that is the middle of lunch and my husband would never make that arrangement. I told him to give me his number and I would have my husband call him back, he hung up. Lol what a scam.

very rude black male named frank asking for the owner to collect debt... i have filed a police report on him because he is trying to commit fraud and he won't stop calling... its getting scary.. he screams at me every time he calls and now i won't rest till something is done. thank God for our law enforcement.

Rude guy named Jeremy. He knew the owners name but wanted his direct number. He stated that he had a meeting with him.  After reading this, I called the number back. A guy with an answering service answer the phone and when I questioned him "Jeremy" suddenly was on the phone. I told him that i spoke with the owner and that the owner did not have an appointment with him. He said well put him on the line. I said no! Tell me what you need and I will speak to him.  He demanded I put him on the phone. I told him that I was reading about him on the internet and he said he needed to go and hung up. Does anyone know what this guy is doing? Identity theft? Data collection?

Chris from timberland company, asking for president or owner of our company, I asked what the call was about and he says " oh I'm sorry my name is Chris and I need to talk to the president or owner of your company" after that three times I hung up.  Caller ID said Wilmer TX only.  I for one WILL NEVER do Business with companies like this.

"Frank" called today asking to speak to boss (by name) Said he had a 1:30 call appt.  Told him he was out sick (the truth) demanded I give his cell phone #, I refused. Said he was with the Gooding Group, I asked several times if I could help and he said no he had to speak to (.....) Was very rude.   I waited about 3 minutes after hang up and called their number, another guy answered after about 6 rings and I told him I wanted to report that their employee, Frank, was beyond rude on the phone.  He said "he owns the company so he can do whatever he wants!" then this guy said to have my boss call back immediately and ask for Frank or Jeremy about a "legal matter" .  Scam
