They’ve called about 4 times now and ask for “Carol” and when I tell them that they have the wrong number they suddenly say “well maybe you can help me “. Don’t think so. That’s when I hang up. It doesn’t matter that I’m on the Do Not Call list , they call anyway.

Caller ID name was "BOONTON NJ."  No message left.  Presumed telemarketer.

Exactly as reported above   I told caller it was dinner time and he said he’d call back. It didn’t click that it was spam / unethical request for money for a police department.  I will definitely be on guard now

Hang Up... I blocked.

ID came up "None". Left no message.

Called n left a Vm asking for a Michael.
Caller ID said it was from Boonton.
We have no one here by that name.
Made the mistake of calling back to tell them that n it said “press 1 to remove yourself from our list”. We hung up.
Probably confirmed our number by calling them.
What’s the use of being on do not call registries these days?
Does it actually stop any calls at all?

Call said Boonton but did not leave voicemail

8 calls total  1 at 2100 on a sunday restarted at 0900 monday,  asking for dollars for the PBA,  well my son in law is a P.O. ,he knows of the calls and   states it's full scam
any PBA will mail out for donations only ,not make calls, they supply a return envelope ,inside will be the locals info and name of the officer in charge

Called my unlisted #.  Didn't recognize, just let ring until they gave up.  Feh.

Called my cell phone today at 11:40am. Didn’t leave a voicemail. Caller ID said “Boonton New Jersey”. Thanks to the kind & helpful people on this website (and the notes left about this #), I blocked the number as it’s most likely a PBA $ spam call that the ACTUAL police have been warning us about.
