someone you couldn't even pronounce my name called from this number to tell me I could be compensated if I suffered damage from birth control  bills, I lost it and started to scream at him, how dare he ask my medical information,

how are they getting our numbers,  when you are on a NO CALL LIST.     HOW CAN WE STOP THESE CALLS.

I have received numerous calls from this number and have repeatedly asked for my name to be removed. It is always an Indian (India) sounding man who says, "Good ______, I am calling from the medical compensation department . . . .  The first time I asked for further information and he asked if I take birth control pills. I told him my medical information was NONE of his business and hung up.

If you return the call on that same number a recording comes on telling you that number is no longer in service.

After getting very little sleep last night I attempted to take an hour nap before getting ready to go to work this morning. In that hour a total of six calls have rung in on my cell and ground lines and all but one were nuisance calls. We are slaves to this activity!

Got a call from this number at 1:25 PM on 2/15/2013.  A woman with a heavy Indian accent asked for my wife.  In the background I could hear the familiar sounds of a "call center", and was immediately suspicious.  The woman identified herself as a "senior medical officer with the State of Virginia".  I am originally from New England and recognized the 978 area code as being from Massachusetts, so I asked her again who she was and where she was calling from, and then she hung up.

I too received a call from this number, but I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize, so I have no clue why they're calling. Anyone recently sign up for any survey websites? Maybe it has something to do with that?

These guys have called me seven times in the past week, saying they are from Medical Systems Group and asking if I've experienced medication side effects. First three times they called from a restricted number, then 254-30-008993 (Kenya?!), then  870-406-8914. On their second call I told them I hadn't experienced any side effects and asked them to take me off of their call list. Still, they keep calling. They talk over me and won't listen when I tell them I've already answered their questions, so please don't call anymore. In fact, when I ask them not to call, they inform me that they WILL call again. Extremely unprofessional. Definitely a call center staffed with Indians, although the callers give patently implausible names such as "Cherry Williams" and "Ronnie Williams". This last call I started speaking to them solely in another language in exasperation, at which point they mimic me and hang up.

I get the same calls and they talk over you no matter that you tell them you are not interested.  i even used a shrill whistle today and the idiot still kept talking so i just hung up.  they say they will keep calling and they do and you can't do anything about it.

just had one more of those calls about 15 mins ago.  i used a very shrill whistle and kept blowing it and the idiot just kept on talking.  you're right they just talk over you and you have no way of getting rid of them.  what good is 'do not call'.

10/22 rcvd call on cell phone, asked for me by name. Caller (Keith)  had very heavy south Asian (Indian / Pakistani?) accent. Much chater in background of other callers. Wanted to help me with problems related to a specific (common) medical diagnosis ( that I don't have.) Claimed to be from the Medical Compensation Department of (when pushed) "the Federal Health Department." When pressed further said
'yes" from "the government." ( But couldn't tell me of what county, state or nation!) Said they weren't selling me anything, rather that they wanted to "help" me. I asked for a supervisor and was told that he was "...unavailable. He is in an important meeting." I asked for a call back number and after a spell of confusion on their end was given 917 723 4600 or 91 76 43 7600. (caller ID indicated 301-241-6545 from Highfield Maryland) Finally another man who spoke slightly less accented English came on the phone and was equally entertaining as he denied being a supervisor but only "wanted to help Keith help me" . I finally hung up laughing. All in all, a very entertaining distraction...

I have received these calls as well from a different number (973-256-9812).  I have asked them several times to remove me from their list at which point they just hang up.  Today they called from the above number I insisted on speaking to a supervisor.  He put a different person on the phone.  I insisted on getting a phone number to the company calling they gave me 972-229-7382.  This number is reported as a telemarketer who refuses to identify themselves in Irving Tx.  When they call they say they are calling from the medical compensation board for central Pennsylvania.  They ask me in VERY BROKEN English about my birth control use.  They sound like they are from India from the accent.

I have had numerous calls.  I just hang up when I hear the long pause, a tinny Indian accent asking to speak to Linda, and identifying themselves as from Medical Compensation Department.   I feel slightly sorry for the person making the calls, this might be the only job he is qualified for.  But I still hang up!

I, too continue to get calls "Medical Compensation Dept." - I was rude to them, yet they kept on talking. I said I knew this was a scam yet they still kept talking - finally I hung up.

I have been getting these calls for the last few months. Annoying. I get them from several different phone numbers. I usually don't answer but this is my cell phone so if I'm expecting a call from a customer I will answer. They are clearly rotating or spoofing numbers and will just keep calling. I wish our government could actually do something about stuff like this - can we not find these idiots and charge them with something?

The man with very heavy  indian accent calls several times a week telling that he is from Medical Compensation department.
After asking politely not to call me he insist that this is very important for me. I told him that I will report him of fraudulent calls, but he continue to call even gat my cell number. Please help me to STOP this

I get two of these calls everyday, I just ask for more information each tiem but so far all info leads to scams. I am going to report it to the FTC, which in turn if they receive enough complaints should step in. Wh knows though.

Omg I've never had blader mesh surgery and quit calling

I too have received numerous calls and have asked tribe removed from list.  Today they hung up on me.  I've never had mesh surgery.  Next time they call, I'll just ask for my check!

This is ridiculous.  I keep getting calls for the last 4 months from Indian sounding men claiming to be from the medical compensation department saying that I had a recent hip replacement. I'm 30 freaking years old! I have asked them to stop calling, to put me on the no call list, my husband even told them I'm dead! But when they call I Said that they had the wrong number and he said that he doesn't have the wrong number. Seriously!!!!??? Someone please make it stop!
