- knock it off| 7 repliesJust received a call marked as "Potential Spam" by my carrier. The number associated with the call origin was 978-533-3439. Voice left of: "Hello, this is Express Scripts, your pharmacy benefit manager calling for (insert name here.) We have some important information to share with you about the COVID-19 vaccine. Please call us back at 1-855-913-3978. Again, that number is 1-855-913-3978. TTY users should call 711. Thank you and have a good day. Goodbye."
I did not call the number to verify validity of this call but it seems odd that a call would come from one number, and then the message would tell you to call a completely different number. But Express Scripts is my pharmacy benefit manager, and they had my first and last name. Not sure if this is a scam or not but I won't be calling back either number....- Caller: Express Scripts, supposedly
- Kim replies to knock it offSame thing here. They are an option with the company I work for, but I do not use them, so I'm not sure why they called me.
- Jane| 1 replySame call and phone numbers as "knock it off." called from 978-533-3429, had my first and last name, told to call 855-913-3978. Caller ID = Express Scripts. Message said Pharmacy Benefits.
Do not, have not ever used either company. Did just get a Covid vaccine at Walmart - did they sell info??- Caller: Express Scripts

- SM| 2 repliesJust happened the same to me... didnt understand what they said at the beginning so I confirmed my name but then they asked me for my birthday date and I was like... naah, not giving that info to a robo voice... haha. Nice try!

- Kathy| 4 repliesI received this same call noted above from express scripts regarding covid 19 vaccine. I suspected it as fraud so called the number on my card instead. The customer service representative told me it was an automated call reminding me of the second dose of the vaccine and that "express scripts has a lot of phone numbers." I told her it smelled really phishy and they may want to change their practices or send notifications out using a known express scripts phone number.

- Barrie replies to knock it offI called. They verify your name, and then ask for your date of birth. I do not give out personal identifying information and hung up.
- Healthy replies to knock it offI don't use Express Scripts and got this call also. Same as above, when it asked for my DOB, I stopped. Treating it as a scam for now.

- JustinI also got a call from this number and it asked for me to verify my birth date. I hung up called back and it was the same "company". I have never had any program, experience, or contact with this company before so I went to my pharmacy. They said that they would be calling me Directly from there to set up a second vaccine dose.

- CalvinExpress Scripts called for my wife (on my number) and left a message regarding the vaccine. Given the facts it knew about us, the fact that we do use their service, and the fact that she very recently got the vaccine (it's not open to everyone here yet), she decided to call back from her phone. It knew her name once she entered my number, and after verifying DOB, it gave her some information regarding the 2nd dose, including the CDC 2nd dose reminder service. Thus, it's not a scam, but we knew most of the information already, and there wasn't any critical action that we needed to take with Express Scripts, so we would have been OK had we ignored it.
