978-547-2104

Caller ID is WellCare.  Recorded message to return call to 877-482-5517 regarding an issue with a prescription.  This is a scam call.  The number to be called is not to the WellCare insurance organization.  Looking to scam senior citizens.

On 04/23/2025 I received a recorded call from 978-547-2104 identified as "Wellcare".  The recorded message stated I should return the call to 877-482-5507 about my prescription.  I dialed that number and the man on the line was speaking in a foreign language.  I pushed "9" to get an operator and the person on the line was unable to name the company he was working for.  I hung up.  I then contacted  Wellcare by using the number on my membership card.  The helpful Wellcare representative advised there was no issue with my prescription and I should block the number that called me after he investigated and found that it was not Wellcare.

Reminder about my prescription. Also help me with refills. Call 877-482-5517.

The reason you know this is a scam/sales call is because they never leave any detailed information.  It's always "call us back" so we can tell you that "important information".  Anyone who calls you with information that requires you to call them to get said information... is a scammer and needs to be blocked.

Caller ID Wellcare Massachusetts with a recorded message asking for a yes or no response. then kept repeating. Could be a scam I do not know. I called wellcare the person on the line told me it was a prescription service. It could have been a spoofed number.( using a phone number to disguise their real phone number.

I called Wellcare (the number on the back of my card), and they told me that 978-547-2104 is a legit number and a legit program they have for reminding patients to pick up prescriptions and to take them. Both the number they called from (978-547-2104) and the number they told me to call (877-482-5517) are in Wellcare's call list.

Received same prescription refill request claiming to be from Wellcare. Thank you Maggie and Susie for warning us about these scams!

Received a call from 978-547-2104 which was flagged as spam by my phone and didn't ring.  The voice mail said it was an important message about my prescription and I should call 877-482-5517. I just requested refills on some meds with no problems. So I called the number on my WellCare card and they said there were no problems with my scripts. So then I called 877-482-5517 and the 1st thing the recorded voice wants me to say is Yes or No, do I want to continue. It also gave me an opt out number to call of 973-393-2466. So I called that number and the 1st thing the recordef voice wants me to say is Yes or No, do I want to continue. I've concluded they want to record my voice saying "Yes".
WellCare, a poster on here says this is a valid call. If it is, change your strategy. If the poster on here is part of the SCAM, shame on you!
