The number is a credit card service that "helps" you lower your credit card interest. I have had the same call every week now and I asked to be on the do not call list but they are a stupid place. And now the calls have multiplied by 4 from what the stupid rude lady said. I don't know how to contact them again to remove my number but its really annoying. The reason why there is no message is because the lady speaks about 15-18 seconds then its nothing. Until you push a number. Call the number and ask to be removed by pressing one.

978 area code is in Mass.  Can't be from Kitchener, ON.

My ever trusty Telemarketer blocker ( device bought at a local London Drugs store ) worked like a charm and gave this, and every scam caller, call a taste of their own medicine.

Don't answer these calls...Fraud.  Don't give/verify any info.  Not sure how they can sleep at night.  SCUMBAGS

I got a call from this number 9785702075. I let it go to voice mail.  The voice mail had A all of background noise.
So who is this call from? How did they get my number from my PRIVATE CELL PHONE COMPANY???? IF A NUMBER COMES UP I DON'T KNOW I DON'T ANSWER THEM.

Same call 5 times in a couple of hours tonight on my cell. No message and don't let it ring long enough to answer so that they can catch a little of what they are dishing out.  Just a super pain and aggravaion.  Thanks to everyone else for their informative posts.

Yep, same thing happened to me tonight.  This number called 6 times in 3 hours.  I answered on the last time and this Middle-Eastern lady told me my MasterCard account was eligible to win a $120 gift card.  SHe didn't even have the right account numbers.  Then they asked for my address to verify.  THIS IS A SCAM!Q  THEY'RE PHISHING FOR YOUR ADDRESS SO THEY CAN CALL YOUR ACCOUNT HOLDER, CHANGE THE ADDRESS, AND USE IT.

She would not identifi herself or company? So how did she get my number? 7:30 EST. When the call came in. This is a scam and there should be something done, Just like they do to terriost...

Recieved call from this number. They knew my address and name. Stated the last  four digits of my credit card. Trying to send me free gas coupons. Hung up on them but now worried they could do damage.

They call 3-4 times daily. Voice mail message nothing but lots of voices in the background.  My guess -- tellemarketing.

I don't know if they are connected, but we have been getting a ton of calls ever since we ordered something from one of those 'Paid Advertising' shows on TV.

I was contacted by what sounded like an asian lady wanting to speak to me.  She had my name and claimed to be from Mastercard.  When my wife asked to get a call back number they hung up !

They provide 10 telephone number for me, so far.
But, this person( number? ) is No.1 foolish in them. This person ( number? ) called 30 time for me.

But, when I catch call, she said, I'm Janet.  Ha?

They calld me 20 tims in 3 hours . Each time they are offering me different Gas cupon prices . Please do not fall into this Scam

This number calls me numerous times a day...I have asked them repeatedly to stop calling and they call again in the next few minutes.  They are calling my cell phone asking for my brother (regarding his VISA)and telling me that I have won gift cards.  There is no free lunch and I don't want any part of what scam they have.

I've rececived at least 30 calls from this number.  They know the last 4 digits of our credit card and want to encourage increased usage of the credit card.  they are looking for our address and I'm sure the rest of the cc number.  They called today 5 times within one hour.  We've requested that they do not call again and it seems to increase the number of calls.  At this point it is harrassing.  Today when I said that my husband wasn't home, they insisted on talking to me - wanting to know my relationship to the intended recipient.  The name that comes up on my caller ID is "New Mags".

I received a call re: my Visa card. I told the B@#*$ I was on a no call list and she talked right over me telling me I may have won something. I told her to never call me again!

I just started getting this number calling my cell phone again - for a short period it had stopped - never leave a message - I am sometimes beginning to wonder why did I sign up for the "Do not call list."  It still is going on!
