Just receved a call FOR Alan Greyson (a Florida Demeocrat who is standing for election this election)

same deal from 978-570-2290. They call and there is no one on the other end.  Very annoying indeed!

got a call at 6:05 pm left a 15 min. of dead air  and field up the space for more incoming calles THIS NEEDS TO STOP !!!

I received a call today, October 13, 2008, from this number: 978-570-2290. No message was left and I didn't answer because I figured it probably was a telemarketer. My phone service has a "caller ID" feature...the name for the number (978-570-2290) appeared: "Private." Someone told me if you get a call from a number you can't identify then go to Google and type it in.
I'm glad I did!

I received a call from this number on October 13, 2008 at 12:46 p.m.  From what I have seen on the Internet, it is a political number from some idiotic candidate running for something.  I thought it was odd that I got the call, considering I do not live in a state that has the 978 area code, and I am on the Do Not Call list.  I am really beginning to regret registering to vote, since all that seems to occur is getting these stupid political calls.  Please do something!  Anything!

Political call from 978-570-2290, Wilmington MA.  They called my cell but did not leave a message.

It was a Political call (received 2 calls during day) and taped message on behave of Val Stevens running a campaign in Snohomish Co. Washington. How annoying

I had a missed call from this number also, and tried calling, but I got a busy signal.  No biggie.  I usually don't answer numbers I don't recognize and if they really wanted to talk to me, they would leave a voicemail message.

I got a call from this number, no message. It's a calling center and probably robo-calls. Political organizations contract with them, but it would be a different candidate depending on where you live.

i didn't pick up and they left a message.  it's definitely an annoying political party persuading you to vote for someone local to your area

I have been called by this # more than 40 times. THIS time, it said, "Telephone Management". In the past it has shown up as "Politcal Call" and other times as 'unknown".

OBVIOUSLY (after reading this thread) it cannot be ALL those political candidates from all over the USA residing in different official positions. because why? it is not logical.

Who knows who it is? Since they do not speak when called back nor ever leave a message.
