- they have no consistent message
- they are not selling a consistent product
- their only function seems to be harassment

why won't the cops shut them down?
what is someone gaining by making these calls?

What is up with these people? They call repeatedly, even though we are on the Do Not Call list. Caller ID shows up as "TN REMOVAL LIST". I want to know why they don't remove me from THEIR list! They never leave a message, as any legitimate business would do. Today I decided to pick it up to see what this was. I said hello, and got no response. I said "What the hell are you calling me for if you aren't going to speak? What's the point?". I heard a hang up. Why am I still having to deal with these trolls, if I am on the Do Not Call list? What exactly is a "TN REMOVAL LIST"? And why would you call someone and then not say anything? WHY??????

I am getting these calls at work.  I have a Google Calendar registered with my work email and recently received an email about something that Google is doing.  It makes sense that it might be Google and they are trying to weed out legitimate business' from individuals using their work email address for Google purpose.  Since I have caller ID, I probably won't ever p/u the call since it is out of area.  Opting out sounds like it might work, may give that a try.  Thanks for all of the posts on this matter.  It helped me decide my best course of action.

They called --- it's a recording saying they are google directory for businesses.  Press 1 if you want to be added to their directory.  Press 2 if you want to decline. I pressed 1, the phone started ringing on the other end, like connecting me to a person, but no one answered.   Then got concerned, and hung up.

I have been getting calls from this number on my work phone at a government office.  When I answer, there's no one there.  It's just a dead line.  I did call back the number as suggested and pressed 1 to be removed, so we'll see if they call again.

I called back & pressed 1 to be removed from calling list & they continue to call. When i answer the call it just hangs up. When i call back there is only the option to be taken off the do not call list..... WTF

Well please tell us who it is and what they are hawking? I'm tired of the calls too and have my cell listed on the FED Do Not Call list.....if enough people make notes then we can complain to FTC and FCC and the minimum fine for ths bunch is $25,000 PER CALL.....

You have enough incidents that you could report to FTC/FCC and get these people all fined at $25,000
per call.....exact some revenge!

exactly Gary i agree with you and the stupid caller id says TN REMOVAL LIST - wtf?  we too are on the nat'l do not call list but so many loopholes in that thing it is worthless.

Calls me at work almost everyday.  No message left.

I have a call blocker app for my Android phone.  It was free and works really well for my purposes.  The calls still come through to my phone, but the phone never rings.  I will still get voicemail messages from time to time, but at least I don't hear it ring and hurry to see who it is, only to find out it's a telemarketer or someone I'm not familiar with.

Don't want any more calls from this company. They call twice a week and nobody is on the line. Automated # removal does not work either.

Calls coming from this number repeatedly, and they leave no message.  I am registered on the Federal Do Not Call Registry for this number, and am tired of having to go to my phone only to find it is these telemarketers calling me unsolicited.

1-978-570-2315 calls our business phone every day, and there is nothing there.  If I wait for a response, the phone eventually just cuts off.  Called ID shows "TN REMOVAL LIST"

I've been getting these, too, and I wonder whether they're fishing for numbers that answer so they can sell them in a list of other people's robodiallers. Otherwise this makes no sense. And, yes, I too, am on the DNC.

I am so sick of these calls coming on our cell phones. the calls are coming from 978 570-2315

this number calls my new Comcast number constantly. Soon as we got the number three months ago the sales calls started. We tried to stop the calls (15 to 20 per day), but no method worked. So we signed up for Google One Voice and all the calls go through there and we can block them with "...no longer in service  
message".  Love it...checked spam this am and there they were "978 570 2315 blocked. I don't know and don't care if they call or don't and so let them spend their time and money...they never left a message before and now they sure will not be able to leave one.

It bugs me that certain people/ groups/ companies think that they have a right to speak to us if they have our number! We do not want to go through 15 to 20 sales calls per day. So have fun 978 570 2315!
