number keeps on calling...no on answers...no one in ma has my cell number...who is this?!?!?! so i can punch you in the face...and break your stupid machine..

i don't know what it is but all you need to do is call back and when the machine picks up press 1 to be taken off the list

They called my direct line at my office and a recording came on stating that I had won a flat screen tv.  I was told to press 1 to continue or press 9 to be removed from their call list.  I pressed 9 of course and nothing happened....silence.  So I just hung up.  These scams are annoying, a waste of my time, and ridiculous!

Got this call - ofer with a free TV - there may have been more, but I hung up

Tape message said I could get direct tv. at a discount. Message said if I wanted to be taken off list  I should press 1. I should press 9 if I wanted to get direct tv. I pushed 9. Hello this is Nate, he said. HI Nate, this is John, give me your last name please.  Nate hung up. I then pressed *69 and was given last incomming call phone number. Which is 978-570-2391.

Call me often， but no answer.

Called, left no message, called back, pressed 1 to be taken off list. Annoying.

I wonder... do any of you use Free 411?? I wonder if this is from the text messages that they always offer. Just an idea.

Two calls to my cell phone today, I answer, but no one on other end.

got called from this number at 5:05 PM February 4th.  So far I have found that it comes from Concord MA.  This would be a telemarketer!  I make it a habit of never answering any call if I do not know the number.  No message left.

No one there when answered.

I received this call today at 9:44a PDT.

After reading through the other posts it looks like they are using the same tactics. I received a call from an automated system asking me to press 9 if I wanted to hear about lowering the interest rates on my credit cards.

When I spoke to the rep, they asked if I had any cards that had more than $4000 in debit and an interest rate higher than 10%. I played along and said yes. They then asked for my card information and I asked why they would ask for that when they could pull the same information from a credit report. They insisted that it was to save my credit rating because if they pulled the report it would cause my FICA to go down. I also touched on identity theft and that it was very speculative for them to ask me for that information without knowing more about their company. They stated that they were from Card Member Services for Visa & MasterCard. I asked if they were directly contracted from their corporate offices and the stated that they represented 500+ banks that offer their cards, deflecting the question.

I then asked if they had a telephone number that I could call them back on an outside line or a website that I could review before making a decision to try their program they said they had those only for those that qualified for their program.

I then asked to speak to a supervisor and spoke with a man named John. He gave me the same rhetoric and said that I didn't have to take advantage of the program if I didn't want to lower my interest rates. I then asked for his Last Name, operator ID and Manager's name and asked if I had a piece of paper. When I told him I was ready to take the information I was hung up on.

I received the same call last month on either 1/22 or 1/23 from a different phone number, 978-570-2391. The reason I knew it was the same company is due to both numbers addressing themselves as Card Member Services and when you call back the number on the caller ID it has the exact same recording that asks you to press 1 to be removed from their preferred marketing list.
