I have been getting several calls from 978-570-2417. Today alone I have had three calls. They are located in Massachusetts. I called the Attorney General and being late I left my phone number to get a call back.
From what I can understand there are several reasons for these calls. Mine is because someone in my house was a diabetic and they want to sell us something. I told them this and they just keep calling.
I would suggest that everyone who gets calls from this number should call their attorney general.
I have also registered with the do not call line. A lot of good it did. If I get any to my cell phone I was advised to call my cell phone company.
This last call I did answer usually I just let it ring. I believe that as soon as I said hello it went to a recording.
Well good luck to everyone. It is a shame because not everyone has caller ID.

Well I just got a call back from someone in the attorney general office of Massachusetts.
I was given the number to update my do not call number. It is 1-866-2312255.
The national number to call is 1-888-382-1222. If there is a human speaking tell them you are listed with the national do not call as well if you live in Massachusetts that you are also listed in Massachusetts also tell them they are violating the Federaal Trade Comm. and you are going to report them at 1-202-326-2222. This is a toll call but well worth it to get the calls to stop.

I don't even have diabetes! I get at least one call per day and having answered several times with most times, no answers, several times finally got a real person. At least three times I asked nicely for my number to be removed. This morning I answered so I could nicely insist removal of my number. The man tried hard to keep dialogue. I told him we are not interested and tired of their calls. I again requested a removal of my cell phone. This number has been calling for at least two months every day and at times two times per day!

I, too, am getting repeated calls from this number!  Two or three a day!!  I do have caller ID so have never  picked up.  Thanks to this site, I have just now found out what this number is all about.  I am a long time diabetic, so suppose they have picked up my phone number from some other diabetic supplier.  Thanx for being here!

keep getting calls, told them to stop calling my number.  call at least 1-3 times a day. pain in the ass!!!!!!!

We receive about 4 to 5 calls a day. Many times after we answer the caller disconnects. This has been going for about 5 weeks!  One time the caller said he was calling for the diabetic assoc. How can we stop these people?

They have called as of 11:00am thu14,04,2011  2times, wed 13,04,2011 4 times

Get these calls all the time from different numbers, sounds like the same person each time.

What they do is change numbers before being caught by the DNC list and recall all of the numbers they had before.  We've gotten these calls from FL and GA earlier this year.

Call your Dr office, diabetic supply companies, etc - someone has given out your info ILLEGALLY!

I've been receiving calls from 9785702417 for more than a month now.  I never pick up the line as I have a minutes phone and will not waste with an unknown.  They call any where from 1 to 6 times a day.  I looked them up on line and it says that they are "Teleport Communication".  I have no idea what they want.  Does any one know how to make them stop?

I can't get the "thing" to stop talking long enough to listen to me!! Most annoying call I've received in a long time. How do I get them to stop?

I have told them not to call again several times. If you call them back to tell them to stop it fives you the choice to opt out of the calling but this doesn't work either.  I am on the do not call list.  Why do the call keep coming?

Take my name off of your phone calling List.  I have reported it to the phone Co.  You are using up my minutes on my cell phone.  If it continues I will fine a way ot cause you problems

Receive phone call two or three time a day.

On April 8th I received a call from this number at 8:37 am.  It was from a telemarketer hawking a glucometer that you can use on your arm instead of having to prick your fingers.  This has to be the 8th call that I have received on this matter.  They just don't take no for an answer.

These people keep calling my cell phone...I called the carrier and reported this and they told me they would block the number. I hope it works.

Yes, I get these also. We are a business, only open for a month or so. They never have anyone on the line when we pick up. Multiple times a day some days. No one here with diabetes. We all need a true universal solution to this problem.
