Bank of America Scam

Received a text message "([BankOfAmerica]UrgentNotification.Call:(978)598-3012)" (sic).  I did not call that # but did call a legit # for Bank of America, with whom I have an account, and they have no record of any problem with my account or any messages being sent.  Beware.

I received a text message "([WellsFargo]UrgentNotification.Call:(978)598-3012)"  I don't even have a Wells Fargo account.

I got a text exactly like this "([WellsFargo]UrgentMessage.Call:(978)598-3012)"
I checked my account and nothing wrong, no messages for me online

cell phone text   says "Wells Fargo Urgent Message Call:  978 598-3012.   I don't have an account with Wells Fargo.   If they were legitimate I would have expected them to just call me.   The phone didn't ring.....only the text.   I will not answer

Got the text and called the number from a different phone just to see what was what and hopefully curse them out.  Machine answer stating "your ATM card was deactivated per your request, to reactivate press 1", then it says "for faster service please enter your 9 digit social security number".  Like that will happen.  Definitely a scam and pure criminal enterprise.

I don't have a Wells Fargo Account

I received the same urgent text message coming from 18272128@catext.com this morning claiming to be Wells Fargo and to call 978 598 3012 - this is a SCAM - Wells Fargo would call your primary home # and try to reach you directly if there was fraudulent activity -

I got text and tried calling back just to see...busy signal

Definitey a scam.

I also got a an hr ago saying : ({WeIIsFargo]UrgetnMessage.Call:(978)598-3012) ..umm nooo...even after someone said they tried asking for a social security number!!

Got a text this morning from 18272128@catext.com:
[WellsFargo] Urgent Message. Call:978-598-3012.

I have an account with them, but I know there;s nothing going on for me there - I checked on line also w/ WF.  After seeing these posts, I'm reassured.  I'm just going to delete this one.  Thanx everyone!
