- Rich GI got this call today. I answered but didn't say anything and after a few seconds it disconnected. ( a good sign that it is a robo-call). A few minutes later it called back, I answered and said hello and the robo-caller told me that it was an urgent call about electricity or something like that.
I hung up and put the number on ignore. - MollyReceived these calls on my landline several times, but just hung up. Then got one on my cell phone, which got my dander up, because besides the fact that I'm on the do not call list, it's illegal for telemarketers to robocall cellphones. So I went thru their auto attendant prompt system, and the rep politely said she'd take me off the list, but it would be while before the removal took place.
They are also unprofessional and rude. Two days later the land line rang while I was in an extreme rush, but I answered because I don't have caller ID and I thought it might be about my appointment. The rep says "Hi, how are you today?" Obviously it's a telemarketer so I say "who is this and what do you want?" and she hangs up on me. This after not identifying herself which any caller should do. To rant a little more, I live in a condo; can't do solar panels, can't do aluminum siding; can't do lawn service. I felt bad about being rude myself when I answered, until I found out it was the solar panel company again.- Caller: Solar panel company
