SCAM ALERT!! Calling supposedly to save me money on my electric bill since new regulations allow customers to change companies. All this was a recording which said to press 1 for more information , which I did. I get many of these calls and never answer them. But I want to stop them. Had to ask 3 times the name of the company. She said it wasn't a company but rather a community project. Well, I'm in Boston; they are in California. When I started asking questions about the "project," she promptly hung up. SCAM ALERT!!! I reported them to the FTC.  PLEASE everyone report them. It is the only way to stop them from calling, and akso from ripping off our fellow vulnerable citizens

Called cell... no message

Didn't answer, but received a voicemail of a recording telling me to press 1 for more information.

Female robot: "This is an urgent announcement about your electricity bill ...." I hung up and blocked the number.

Rcvd a call from this number at 8:38pm on 9/30/15. I did not answer, but nearly broke my neck trying to get to the phone thinking it was a call from family since it was late.

Called my cell at almost 8PM tonight. I let it ring- too many scam calls lately- This was probably another call to change electric companies- NO MESSAGE ! BAD CALL !  I too am on the Do Not Call List . ENOUGH !

The DNCR will never stop telemaggoters from calling.

I am in a north Boston suburb and have been receiving numerous calls in the past week from other Massachusetts towns (all with no message).

I've reported them multiple times and they keep calling

I received a call from the same number, 978-881-0965, fortunately I was on a conference call. I blocked it in my iphone and that seems to do the trick in stopping repeat calls from the same sponge-cakes! Thanks Gayle for reporting this.

We got a call from this number today at 12:47 pm, and my wife answered. The caller ID was UNKNOWN NAME. My wife answered an heard the beginning of a recording regarding electricity and hung up. The number will be added to our call blocker.

They just called me left no message and it's 11:19 p.m.

Missed a call from this number. Caller ID says: Acton, MA. No message was left.
