Same - called cell but left no message

Left on message.  Blocked number.

Spam call.  Asked for Robert.  When stated "wrong number" the caller went into a sales pitch.

Called. No message @ 10:29 am-Blocked

I answered this number and they were trying to collect money for veterans. They ask you to pledge a donation and then they will mail you a sponsorship package. You then turn in the pledged amount in a return envelope. I don't believe this is a scam. We'll see what I get in the mail.

Just picked up a call from 980-242-3198. As with most unknown callers, I answered "How may I direct your call". The man asked for Ruby. I said I don't know that name and asked if he was sure he meant to (insert company name here). He said yes. I started to repeat "We have no Ruby here" and suddenly we were disconnected! ;)

Might I have found a new and interesting way to stop these folks? Cause.. real companies do end up on lists and the receptionist is not gonna bother with these cats, when they don't have a proper employee name! After all, they don't know if there are 2 people working here, or 40!

Make sure you do a good search on their company name, when you get the mail. Not just their company name, but add +scam and see what pops up! That extra 3 seconds could save you big time...

Asked for head of household and I hung up. To many scams lately

Called yesterday but no message was left.

Asked to speak to someone random I've never heard of on my personal cell.  Have had the number for 14 years now,  instantly hung up on him.

Called office line on Sunday. No vm left. Saved number as a Spam contact for next time.
