ROBOCALLER - although I never answer calls from #s that aren't in my contact list, I called them back using the *67 feature (so they wouldn't know was calling them) & there was a recording that said "thank you for calling the fund raising center...) so I simply blocked the # from ever getting through to me again.

Didn't know it, didn't answer.

They say they are raising money for police officers.  Stating they will mail you out a sponsor envelope but you have to commit to an amount before they mail it out.  I simply hung up because I started to become suspicious.

Robocall that is spoofing  caller ID numbers. I have received this same automated call from three different phone numbers. Male voice always asks to speak to “John,” then when you tell it they have dialed a wrong number, the voice continues “well, then maybe you can help me…”  Scam.

Hah!  980 is a local area code...but I didn't recognize it so didn't answer.  Voice mail is full (on purpose!), so they couldn't leave a message.

Blocked'em.

Called (several times) just to hang up on the answering machine.
