Do you know where they were calling from or what company

Keeps calling and also got a hold of one of my relatives looking for me whom I don’t speak to.

They call asking for personal questions and they do not give information about who they are.

This is a collection agency and for myself it was regarding a student loan through a credit union that is NOT federally protected. Big difference...if you have like a Sallie Mae or some type of Stafford Loan, which is protected by the government then they can garnish your wages because it's big brother. But these pieces of S**T call and threaten you. Tell you you're a loser for not paying your bills, threaten to have you arrested which 1) is illegal practices and completely false. If they do then contact the FTC to issue a complaint. The only one that can and will eventually garnish your wages is the federally protected loans. Don't let these people run you over. I had been paying them the very minimum amount and had to have my debit card replaced which I told them I would be more than happy to give them the new number when I received the card but I received one card that was stolen out of my mailbox so the guy didn't believe me, which I TRULY don't care what he believes, so that's when the threats started coming. Now they would have to go through the court system and have a judgement issued against me which would take quite some time and if they did do that then I would file bankruptcy just so these idiots didn't see a dime more than what I have already paid them for a completely worthless College Network loan thru a credit union. And if anyone wanted to check it out I would tell someone to RUN the opposite direction if they ever received a call to further your education thru The College Network. Even the state of New York won a settlement for just one of the credit unions that makes these types of loans to others that is based on lies and deceptive practices as. So don't answer them if you can help it.
