Charity donation for breast cancer.

They call me Jessie and I said hello they knew my first name and said it was  breast cancer awareness morning a donation .... I ask how they got my number because it was a private number… The reply was will be happy to remove you from air system .... it's something I signed up for… Trying to figure out what it is… Possibly a shell rewards… Possibly  search Florida voting records… A lot of info is on line now

Some idiot called just to hang up on the answering machine.

Charity call... obviously fake

Call was received on my cell phone, they called me by name and began to ask about for money for "Breast Cancer" ladies who can't afford their medical treatment. Sounded fake. I asked where did she get my number from an she advised they purchased a list of numbers but would not say from whom.

Said they were crawling for breast cancer awareness and ask for a donation. Requested my address to send the packet period they knew my first name but ask for my last name

I get these $#:&!! Calls all the time. I just ignore it, then block it

They keep calling and asking for Christa. I've had the same number for 15 years, so there is very little chance a person named Christa ever had it. The last time they called was able 2 months back and I told them they must have the wrong number and they sent into the whole 'Oh well maybe you can help me then' and going on about donating for breast cancer research. They were incredibly persistent in front to get me to donate. I let them know I prefer to donate to charities I am familiar with and that was that. They called back again just a few minutes ago and again started in with the 'Hello is Christa there?'. Same exact speech as last time. I hung up once I realized what it was. Very doubtful that it's legit and likely a scam. I've now blocked the number.

Thanks for the information. I've never seen any of breast cancer solicitations to be from worthy charities. Added to auto-reject list.
If anybody wants to donate to something truly useful I suggest smile.amazon.com for your amazon purchases and select the Warrior Angels Foundation which specializes in treatment of TBI (traumatic brain injury) for veterans.

Telemarketing call for breast cancer. They ask for someone else by name and when you tell them, there is no one at this number by that name, they respond with "Oh, then maybe you could help me" and start reading their script.

They just called. Asked for Elizabeth. Read from a scriot of breast cancer awareness. Finished long enough to ask if they were a computer then hung up.

Called and just hung up. Calls all the time and does this.

No answer call

Called and asked for Virginia. Responded with no, they said "Thank you, there is no message" and hung up. I promptly blocked the number.

Called my cell and asked for Maggie, when I said wrong number, they said 'we're actually looking for both of you'.  I hung up and blocked it.
