Another unknown caller from the 980 area code calling my private cell #!

I am really sick and tired of this number calling my cell phone and I amon tyhe do not call list.

The woman identified herself as a rep from a debt collection agency acting on behalf of Time Warner Cable. She had my middle name and last name right but cited an address that I have never lived at, and a debt I do not owe - more than $800. I told her I don't owe TWC $800 and that she had the wrong address. She assured me I would be removed from their list and wouldn't get any more calls from this number. The whole experience felt squirrelly. If this number calls you, might as well not answer.

Calls all the time.I have no outstanding debt,I don't have any debt.The "do not call list" is a complete waste of time.I know,hard to imagine a government agency that doesn't do it's job.

Actually the DNC system works reasonably well.  People and businesses are prosecuted under the law all the time.  However it is meant as a guide to law-abiding telemarketers.  Criminals and scofflaws ignore the law.  Invest in a call blocker and DO NOT pick up on call numbers you do not recognize.
